Brandi,
As we bring 2013 to a close - Arden had a great year. She earned all her AKC obedience rally titles - finishing up last week with her Rally excellent title. She is doing well in agility also. She is such a wonderful dog - we love her very much. I am including a few of the latest pictures i have. Her name now reads C-ATCH Braylors's Arcadian Forest of Eve CD, BN, RE, OA, OAJ, NF, CGC, NTD

Brandi,
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas & a wonderful year in 2014! Bree is doing great (slowing down some & not always eager to run after the ball 100+ times like she used too!!); still has to be the center of attention. She's happiest when mom & dad are in the study on the computers at the same time. She knows she can get some sleeping done on her bed right next to us. As long as we are moving around she's awake as she does not want to miss out on anything! We love her dearly...can't believe she's already five years old.
Hope you won't have any trouble opening the picture and that it comes to you with the additions added (had a hard time getting it worked out just the way I wanted).

Chakotay is doing well and should be ready by summer/early fall to enter trials. We are all taking a “Dumbbell and Stick Class”. The boys are learning the foundational elements of open level in obedience. There is not enough of us in our class of 20 ready to move onto Open training so our instructor offered this “Dumbbell and Stick Class” so that those of us not quite ready for open training could participate. It is funny that out of the 20 dogs training in novice work, the two dogs ready for open are both Papillon’s (Ryker and another pap) – good breed.

Brandi,
I got the AKC registration papers you sent today. I'll let you know when I send them to AKC and will remember to fill in his official name. AJ & Eric's second Puppy Kindergarten Obedience Class is tomorrow. AJ has the sit command and walk on a loose leash already mastered. He's just so super intelligent, athletic, and loving all rolled into one really neat pap we love. Venus and our other pap have accepted him and love racing around the backyard playing chase together. He mastered the backyard agility obstacles all on his own. Venus & I have completed our 12 weeks of Rally Obedience training with Tammy White at Rob Cary Training http://www.robcary.com. Brandi!
I just wanted to send you a recap of the events and titles that Rowdy and I have had together this year. 2013 has been a great year for Rowdy and I...we have won 21 individual titles competing in CPE, AKC, and USDAA this year. He has excelled beyond all my expectations and there is no limit to the amount of fun we have xompeting in agility!! I swear he runs each run with a smile on his face, which makes me smile in return. As Rowdy nears his third birthday, I am amazed at how quickly he has accomplished so much. We are looking forward to 2014 as we continue our agility endeavors and prepare to go to Nationals in June (hopefully). Thank you again for matching me with the perfect partner! Have a happy holiday season and Happy New Year!
Sincerely,
Jennifer

Hi Brandi,
Well we noted Carries birthday yesterday and I thought I would send you her picture…, since I know she is your Care Bear. And I wanted you to know she seems to be doing well. Over Thanksgiving week we went down to California to check on my Mom and Al. It was a\ whirl wind trip, down by car with one over nighter down and back up, and just 3 nights there in Cambria. Whole trip was quick but that is all we had time for right now….and all 4 our Papillion’s made it through with flying colors. Despite the craziness of it. Had to leave the RV behind this trip for time sake….which made logistics with the four of them a little rougher. Of course they required a whole entourage of accessories. I was rolling a bell-boy cart loaded down with back packs, bins of doggie things, a couple crates, our luggage, electronics gear, et cetera to our room first night. A woman asked me where my puppies were? I told her they were sleeping in their room…. like proper rock stars. And truly they were treated like rock stars everywhere they went. This a picture of Carrie in our (her) bed at the hotel we stayed at in California. I know it is a little grainy as it is cell phone pic. We stayed at a beautiful location right on the beach with the roar of the ocean always in the background and they are totally puppy friendly at this place. They had special bags presented to them upon arrival filled with little heart shaped cookies. And chocolate homemade brownies for mom and pop. And a great grassy doggie walk area for them to walk around in….where Jim and I could stand at the same time and watch the ocean. WOW! We had stayed there years ago with just Winston and our Shelties, so I knew it would be perfect. We spent a lovely time with my parents. The doggies enjoyed the lower level of the house with the family room to themselves and little restrictions. So it worked out well. Upstairs (in the adult area) they enjoyed time in their expandable pins. Which of course never goes over quite so well with these spoiled pups who are used to going anywhere they please. We have been trying to get some pictures of all 4 of them to send you, but they don’t hold still too much for snap shots. Someday….it’ll happen. Well I must go for now….we are off for some coffee latte this morning. Burrrrr….cold around here. Been 20 degrees this morning, but at least the wind has stopped. Doggie walks are notably shorter because of this. Hope all is well with you? Have a nice December with lots of good weather and happy times.
Many Hugs,
Becky, Jim, Winston, Buddy, Asti and Carrie

Hello....Just wanted to give you a Gunner update and wish you Happy Holidays!! He is doing really well......very sweet, but a real stinker. He will steal your shoes, cup towels...anything he can grab from you and run with it while taunting you to give chase.....very smart little dog. He’s nearing his 1st birthday so I attached a picture so you can see what a handsome dog he has become. He and I are best buds!! Take care and have a very Happy Holiday Season!!

Brandi,
Rowdy and Tango are the best of buddies. They play all day long, which is great because they both have sooo much energy. Tango is a monster. ...at 8 months he measured 13 inches! He's a couple inches taller than Rowdy, which neither of them seem to mind. Rowdy is excelling In agility. ...halfway through Level 5 and only 20 legs left for his Cpe championship. He is in excellent standard and masters jumpers in akc and has won a few Usdaa titles and tournaments as well. All this before his third birthday! Rowdy is ever the trickster and I have thought about picking up a few trick dog titles as well. Tango has started his training in agility and shows no fear. His favorite obstacle is the Teeter because it pays so well. There's nothing he won't do for a treat. We just wanted to say hi and thanks again. I will be making an appointment to have Tango fixed in late December/early January... he got so big I wanted to make sure he was done growing first. I heard that fixing him too early could trigger another growth spurt. I hope all is well with you.

Some new photos of Venus at 8 years old. She is getting a back rub while she looks for squirrels with a little help from Shawn. He is now an AF 1LT Aerospace Engineer @ Edwards AFB in CA. Last time you saw him at your house he was a senior in high school and we were picking up baby Venus. He was home for a few days this month & Venus wouldn't let him out of her site.

Hope all is going well with you and the dogs!

Hi Brandi,
How are you and your family doing? We're doing great down here in steamy San Antonio. It's supposed to be 103 again today. Just saw your post of Beltre on your available pups page. Been following him and Ian on the Braylor's Community FaceBook page and watching them grow. They're beautiful. I've been starting to consider another pap. Our family now consist of only Venus & her older sister who is almost 10 yrs old & still 4.8 lbs. Our other 3 dogs have all crossed over the rainbow bridge. We have been a family of only 2 dogs for over a year and a half now. Long enough for me to know that I'd like another pap to add to our family. I'm looking forward to starting a Rally class with Venus next week. She's still just as playful as ever. She never leaves sight of me and focuses totally on what I'm doing. I think she'll enjoy the activity and socialization again. This time I'd like a classic tri color, maybe male, that would like rally and obedience competition. Definitely one on the smaller or average size. It would have to be a gentle, lap loving, easy going personality that would be able to interact well with Venus' very outgoing & friendly attitude. In closing, let me know if you have any suggestions. I'm not in a big hurry and haven't talked to Eric about it yet. Here's a picture of our Himalayan, Cinders, is 14 yrs & Venus will be 9 yrs in Oct. So they've been best friends a long time.
Best regards to all,
Carolyn and Venus

Brandi-
I received Chakotay’s paperwork today – thanks. Boys are doing great. We get so many compliments and people always ask how much grooming we do to keep them so beautiful. They are always surprised when I tell them we only bath them and trim the hair on their feet. Ryker – he is doing wonderfully in obedience. He is a solid 197 dog and John will start trials this fall to get his CD. Chakotay – is also doing very good in obedience. We decided to repeat class 2 as neither of us were ready to move into class 3. This is actually the first dog I have trained beyond class 1 so we both needed another 10 weeks – me to improve my timing and footwork and Chakotay to mature and be less distracted. We have our test in two weeks and then will start class 3 with John and Ryker. Chakotay is actually better than a few of the newer dogs in class 3 already. My plan is to start fun matches this fall and is everything goes well starting on his CD in the Spring.
Thanks again,

Hellow There!
Please find attached Kalin's certificate of sterility, rabies certificate and the completed Braylor's Papillons Spay/Neuter Info Sheet. She is recovering nicely from the surgery and the only problem I'm having is getting her to take her antibiotics. She figured out my method of hiding the pill in her food and she despises peanut butter. I've been having to place them at the back of her throat and wait for her to swallow. She really dislikes this method too. Poor baby! Thought I'd share a photo with you of Sarah's high school graduation day. She had to have a pic with her big brother Justin and Kalin!
Hope you both are well!

Agility - Novice Fast( NF), Open Standard (OA) - 2nd place, and 2 q's in excellent A - both 3rd places. Open jumpers with weaves (OAJ) - a first place finish. Obedience - CD and then an insurance leg in Novice B and her RN with a perfect score of 100! We had so much fun and hope to be able to go to another specialty in the future. Arden got to play with lots of papillons and i learned that most people own more than one pap! LOL She is now - C-ATCH Braylor's Arcadian Forest of Eve CD, BN, RN, CGC, OA, OAJ, NF, CL-2PLT

Brandi,
Hello, it has been a while since I updated you on Dillon (aka Randy, his dad is Fuzzy) born December ’08. He is doing just great, he loves living in the country and running down the long driveway to get the paper. He has matured into a very beautiful papillon, everyone that sees him comments on how beautiful he is. We have a 10 month old granddaughter now and he is really good with her. We were glad to hear you all survived the terrible destructive weather up your way. I am sure it has been hard nevertheless, with the damage being so nearby. Take care, I am attaching the best picture I could get of Dillon, he seems to get sleepy when the camera comes out!

I just wanted to drop you a little note and tell you how great Tango is doing. Although he was extremely shy and scared for the first week or two home, he has really started coming out of his shell. Rowdy has taken him under his wing and Tango really looks up to his big brother. They LOVE each other and play nearly all day long. Tango began going to school last week and really shows a love of learning.....and food :O) He is very attached to me already and I think he will continue to do great in the weeks to come. Rowdy sends his thanks too!

TCheri arrived safely. She is now walking around the backyard, exploring (see pic). She seems to be in a good mood, a little quiet, but otherwise very affectionate and curious. She is so much cuter and smaller in person. I thought our 4 lb pap was small. But, she is so tiny and sweet. We are very happy.

hello brandi -
just wanted to let you know that Corrie is doing great - adjusting to city life and our home. we just adore her. she follows me around like I am her mamma. our dog henry is also adjusting well - she seems to have a calming effect on him. she has transitioned from litter box training and has been going to the bathroom on our terrace with few indoor accidents. we are not taking her down to the street until she is spayed. she has been sleeping in a crate next to my bed. she rarely barks. she is scheduled to be spayed sometime in mid june. as soon as she is spayed, I will scan and return the contract to you. she is really just so loving and gorgeous - what a wonderful addition to our family.
thank you again - we hope you are well.

On Feb. 17th , Titus earned his MACH – it was a lovely day in Palm Beach, lots of my friends were there to cheer us on – needless to say, it was one of the best days ever !!!!!! Titus and I continue to have fun – we have rediscovered “playing ball “ and honestly, we do more of that then practicing Agility – I have found that Titus is more focused and faster after all the playing !!! We “Thank You”, once again, for bringing us together!!!!!

Brandi,
I’ve attached a few pictures of Gunner that I took today. He’s doing really well......growing like the weeds in the yard. He loves the backyard.....seems to view it as his personal race track...birds beware! When he went to the vet recently, they wanted to keep him. The ladies in the office and the techs said they fought over who would handle him....Ha! What a great dog.....thanks for your help in making this happen for me.

Brandi,
Attached are some pictures of Molly. We would really like to have a female dog very similar in size and temperament and coloring of Molly. She is very obedient, a lap dog, loves to play ball and SMART! We are not in a major hurry, but if the right dog came up my sister (dog-sitter) will be able to take care of two dogs for me.

Brandi,
Hello! It's been a while and we've been very busy! Mia is still doing great in agility class. Looking at entering a trial in June or July, I think! She is still the best dog ever. Her birthday is this next month and she will be four! I can't believe that! She should still be a little puppy. She ran into a thorn bush recently and thus had to have all her lovely ear fringe chopped off. I almost cried when that happened- haha. Mia thinks the less ear fringe makes her look youthful. She's started a new endeavor, which seems to be her life calling- nosework. I think nosework is her favorite thing ever. She has gone through two rounds of classes and is doing very well on birch, the introductory odor. I've gotten so into it that Summer has been dragged through a round of classes now! Mia was the top of her nosework class. She finished every mock trial we did with the fastest time. It's amazing to see such a little, determined dog. She is very focused on the hunt and she does not give up! I keep reminding myself I don't need another puppy. I am so tempted every time I go to your site!

Hi Brandi & Mike! Long time no chat!
I have moved back to Atlanta, GA with Jazzy and Danni. We are happily enjoying being "home" and have this great terrace apartment with lots of windows close to my Senior Center that I now manage. We have had to make a few adjustments. I am 16 very vertical wooden step away from street level so I now put both of them in a crate and carry them up and down each day for our walks! Danni has had some back issues, saw the chiropractor, and for safety's sake, I am protecting us all from injury. Jazzy is now 9 so her ear fringe is thinning but she is still very frisky and a sweetheart - more than Danni these days. Also attaching a couple pictures of Danni looking out from in under their perch/on it at the new place. Gratefully we are just a few miles from my former roommate and that makes us happy. She considers the girls hers and missed then while I was in North Carolina for 2 years. Hope all is well with you two!
Blessings,
Susan

Brandi,
I just wanted to send you a quick update and pic of Rowdy. Rowdy won his CL2-R, completed all of CL2 and finished his CL3-H titles in the past two weeks! I am so proud of him....there are also some videos of Rowdy on Youtube at our competition in Melrose Park last weekend. People were raving about him yesterday at the CPE trial in Peoria about how smart he is and how far he has come in such a short time (barely over two years old). I will send you the link to the You Tube videos. Rowdy sends his love!
Sincerely,

Brandi,
Thought you'd like a pic of Jezebel in her first real snow fall. She loves the snow. The first time she went out there was only 6 or 7 inches and she sank to her neck. She looked surprise and then started to hop all over the patio. I had a hard time getting her to come in. Then I had to blow dry the snow out of her fur and since then she is constantly going to the door and barking to go play. She also likes to eat snow. She's so adorable she always makes me laugh. Thanks again for a prefect puppy. (Jezebel 8 and 1/2 months)

Hey Brandi!
Petey (Phelps) has blended in with our family so seamlessly that time has just flown by. Thank you for providing us with such an amazing “baby”. His health, larger size, coloration, and personality are exactly what we were hoping for! He has been neutered and doing just fine on Comfortis so far. His overall health is excellent. Your friend who delivered Petey to the airport was wonderful. Petey did not look frazzled or ill in the least. He was a little sleepy and I continued your drops for the first week with great success. He had a very good acclimation period. It is evident that you treat your Paps very well. Petey is so affectionate and he loves his Ragdoll cat Charlie. They were rolling around after about the third day. They clean each other, lie together, and just adore each other. That was so important to us. He has his place on the second level of the cat condo, Charlie has the penthouse. He gets up to by climbing up the recliner. In addition, he loves wrapping himself around our neck when we are sitting in the recliner. He was fetching when we got him at 10 weeks old, which blew me away, and he loves to play and fetch every day. He puts the toy exactly in the middle of the palm of my hand. He loved his trip to the mountains last fall and rolling in the rye grass near our camping spot. We are acclimating him to the dock on the river for when we get fishing kayaks. He enjoyed licking a fish yesterday, Yum! You were right about Paps putting EVERYTHING in their mouths. It is crazy. However, he does not swallow so much anymore. We puppy proofed our house before we brought him home and he is always in our sight, yet he always find something to put in his mouth. He is a stinker. I can see why some people have more than one Pap. I think I would like to bring another one home in about a year. I will get a deposit to you in a couple of months so I can get on your waiting list for another just like him! Seriously, from the same parents too. Petey’s markings are beautiful, his stature is very balanced and his head shape is just what I had in mind. I really like the broader features that he has. This puppy has brought such immense joy to our lives! We will be in touch.
Thank you,

Hi Brandi!
Just wanted to say Happy New Year! And let you know that Lexie has now earned her AKC Master titles in standard and jumpers, and her Novice Fast title. We are currently working on her MACH title and qualifying for Nationals for 2014. Still working on distractions but her focus is getting a little better. She is still my little cutie and clown! :-)
