	12-12-09 Brandi- Blast is doing great! He knows how to sit and is getting better at down and switch. He knows tunnel and can do a very short chute. He thinks the Aframe is the best place to lay on top of and rip up leaves and the seesaw is fun to bounce off of. He is a never ending ball of energy, I better start going to the gym again just to keep up. He has officially claimed Joule's purple striped bed as his own. Of course, he also owns all the toys in the house. Every day he empties the toy basket, now if I could only teach him to put them away. Currently on Long Island there are 3 other papillon/phalene puppies all born in August. He is the youngest, but the biggest. We call him stilts. But being big right now is paying off, b/c he fits in all of Joule's coats. Eventually he can upgrade to Astro's gear:) But seriously, it is so nice for him to play with other puppies. We try to get together 2 times a week. As soon as Nancy gives me the video of the playdate from Saturday I will send it to you. I included a picture of Blast with Desi and Dallas too. 	11-23-09 Hello Braylor's, It has been five years since we purchased our adorable Lola. She is now working as a therapy dog here in Huntsville. We are members of Huntsville Pets Helping People/Delta Society. We will send some photos of her in her offiicial scarf etc. She is a huge hit at Huntsville Memorial Hermann Hospital and Huntsville Healthcare geriatric center. Last year we had to put down our wonderful lab Angel and most recently our 14 year old cat Fluffy had total renal failure and passed away. We now think we would like another puppy. We just have Lola and our chihuahua Foxy who is twelve. We would like a dog smaller than Lola who is eight pounds. I prefer the Tri coloring. We have always had female pets but I think a male would be fine.The puppy would be a lap dog, get lots of attention and be pretty spoiled. We are in no rush to get the dog. We want to make sure we find just the right one. Please let us know if you can help us. Lola is such a special dog it is hard to imagine we can find another with her charm and personality! 	11-23-09 Brandi & Mike, I apoligize for not keeping in touch about Julie. She is doing very well and adapting very nicely, she is being spoiled rotten, and sleeps between Patti and myself each night, although for a small dog she certainly is comfortable in taking up her third of the bed. We had a few potti accidents in the house, buts that to be expected with us getting used to her, and her adapting to us, plus I don't think she cares for going outside when its cold. Thank You so much for sending this little sweetheart to us. John Julie is doing great, she is such an angel. She fell in love with John at the on set and spends every moment she can with him. They are quite a pair ;-). I took her to his office to meet everyone and of course she was fused over and praised. I am attaching a photo of her from this morning, she was helping me read the news so I thought I would stop and let her pose. 	11-3-09 Hi Brandi, Not sure if you remember us or not. Back in 2000 my daughter saved up all her pennies to help buy "Penny", hence the name. Oh…Penny is a little brat dog…rules the whole darn house. If that dog aint happy nobody’s happy. She is spoiled and won’t walk on the leash anymore since we started taking her on the golf cart. She goes into the garage and hops onto the golf cart and sits until we take her for a ride. We call her Princess Penny!!! Alysia (GA, USA)

	10-26-09 Hi Brandi, I am soooo sorry I have not emailed an update in so long. I ended up having to be out of the country (for 2 months . . . ) this summer. Remy stayed with his Papa and did just great (though he is a Mama's boy, hehe). He was too funny- - I would video call on Skype and I could see him stealing socks from the laundry basket and bouncing around on the coffee table behind my husband's back!! I have been VERY busy as I ended up getting a tenure track position after all at the University of New Orleans. We took the boys with us to Lafayette this last weekend, and they had a great time. Remy was a pure joy- - enthusiastic, good traveler (no more drooling, must have been a baby thing), he just had a great time. I am attaching a picture of Rem and brother Dom in front of the great house on Jefferson Island (New Iberia, La.), and one of me and the boys by a lake. Still working on the photography too but these are just family snapshots!! I love the one of the boys in front of the house- - really shows their personalities- - Dom takes it upon himself to "protect" all of us from everything and everyone- - Rem lets him do that and just enjoys his little self!! 	10-20-09 Hi Brandi, Lily and Violet have a little competition going, but they do wrestle and play. Lily does have the very bad habit of going for Violet's extra big ears when it gets competitive. Should I worry about that? I will often pick Violet up to get Lily to stop. Lily has such a big personality - if she were a guy she would one of those macho types with a swagger. She and Tango have a wonderful time - and she loves the Cavaliers. In fact, Gracie adores Lily and follows her around. Lily still digs, but I'm sure that is something that will always be one of her favorite things to do. She is better since Violet came on the scene and wears out playing with Violet instead of me. 	10-12-09 Brandi, Just want to let you know we did go to the vet this morning. Spay incision site is a tiny bit red, but with the stitches out it will be okay. She was the doll of the office. Most everyone knew Jewel so they very much wanted to meet our new baby. As boisterous as she is inside she is quiet when out. Her weight was 5.4. She has made us laugh, she's just the medicine we need. good choice, thanks, Katherine (NC, USA)

	10-11-09 Brandi, She is here. She did come out of the crate kissing. She was so glad to hear her name the tail wagged and she rolled around in the bedding. She is in her crate eating, drinking, barking and growling at Miley and Harry. Miley can not believe we brought another dog into the house. I am going to have plenty to distract me from my woes while I play referee for a while. All three have very strong opinions about each other. She has a very petite little face, demands pets and wants the prime place on the couch, but we won't spoil her, ha, ha. Miley's face says it all! Katherine (NC, USA)

	10-6-09 Hi Brandi, Just thought we would send you a picture of our little cheerleader!! We took CoCo (formerly Avanti) tailgating with us this past Saturday to a University of Tennessee game...and we must have gotten over a thousand compliments on her, and that's no exaggeration! 10 different people even came up to us and asked if they could have their pictures taken with her too! She loved all of the attention, being the spunky little girl that she is! Can't believe she has been with us exactly 1 year this coming weekend, and we have loved every minute of it. 	10-5-09 Brandi, Yesterday we had a pap play date in Wilmington. Miley and Harry protected the pack of paps and one tiny sheltie with lots of barking! We then traveled over to Wrightsville Beach which is where this beach shot of beautiful Miley was taken. Miley feels the spaniel side of the breed with much gusto. She is pulling on the leash to get after those sea gulls that had the nerve to land in her vicinity! Katherine (NC, USA)
	9-15-09 Hi Brandi and Mike, Titus and I had the best weekend ever !!!!!!!! This was a two day trial and we entered Standard Novice and Jumpers with Weaves Novice - the first day was a bit of an adjustment period , but as the day went on, I could feel we were connecting more and more and although we did not win anything the first day - I felt that we had achieved something big in our relationship - I read about the importance of connecting with your partner before running and so I spent a lot of time talking to him and working on focus instead of reving him up as I had in the past. On Sunday - he was totally one with me - it was so amazing - we ran both the Standard and JWW perfectly - no off course, no hesitation , just the two of us focused on our communiction with each other - as you can see, Titus won two 1st place ribbons and we now have our 1st leg in both catagories . We are EXCITED !!!!!! He has been a "dream dog" since the moment I first saw him, but running agility with a partner like Titus, is, as they say, PRICELESS !!!! Much Love, Barbara and Titus (FL, USA)
	9-13-09 Brandi, Here are some pictures we took out at the show, some are taken away from the fairgrounds, we had coffee and sat outside and got a pic of him wanting his frankenstein cookie we got at a dog boutique there. we also got some photos at a park in payson az on our way back to chandler. Theres also a funny picture of him getting a bath, he looks so unhappy !! haha. he loves to travel and go places. He's really good in the hotels and driving around. And most of all he loves to show!! he really enjoys it. I will watch a lot of dogs out in the ring that look like they are doing it just because they have to, several ran out of the ring!! and others are so distraced. but not Slider!! he is so into me, and happy, wagging his tail and eager for the next step !! I always get compliments on him, how nice we look out in the ring, and how beautiful he is! I get a lot of the papillon people, breeders and show people, looking at him, they are very stuck up and rude here in my area!! they think just because they own papillons they are better than everyone else. But I love when they see me, just an average girl with this amazing looking super intellegent papillon, that blows theres away! haha. they won't ask me about him because im sure they're jealous! hahahah. anyways I'm rambling, but again thanks for taking the time to be here for me, and all of us papillon owners! -mallory (AZ, USA)
	9-13-09 Hello, Mia goes everywhere now and makes tons of friends. She is just wonderful, I couldn't have asked for a better pup. She is so happy and energetic. She's a ton of fun and VERY smart. I think she may be the smartest dog I've had. She knows so many tricks already. We put up stairs near my bed and she figured those out so fast. Poor Summer is still having trouble with them though. Mia uses those brains for evil though sometimes. She has figured out how to open the bottom drawer of my desk and will sometimes jump inside. 	9-10-09 & 9-13-09 Hi Brandi, Just wanted to let you know I have my genius slider entered this weekend in rally, if he qualifies (which i know he will) he will have his advanced rally title!!! my boyfriend just got a new fancy camera, so I told him he has to take some great photos!! I'll let you know how we do! a few days later....... Well im excited to tell you that slider now has his advanced rally title! he got a 99 out of 100 sat. and a 1st place! out of 10 dogs! and sun. he got a 100!! perfect score and another 1st place! 	8-26-09 Hi Brandi, We have had a very busy summer - Titus accompanied us on his first sailing trip - he wore is life jacket the whole time we were out on the water - I had him on a long line just in case - the weather was great and he enjoyed just sitting on deck watching all the activity, we docked in a different place every night and he was just so well behaved where ever we went. We are entered in several upcoming AKC trials this Fall, but in order to prepare, my trainer suggested we try TDAA - Titus and I had a blast !! They were indoor venues - which was wonderful considering the temperature and humidity in Florida this time of year - in two weekends Titus earned his Beginner Games Title and Beginner Standard Title - we did distance work so well that people were congratulating us as we came out of the ring - in one games class we had so many bonus points that our time was a minus 2 seconds. He is such a treasure in so many ways!!!!!!!!!! I have taught Titus to stretch on command -- so that when we are warming up for Agility - in addition to our little routine, I can get him to do a real stretch - it is adorable . 	8-26-09 Hi Brandi, Misha has become Ken's dog. She wants to be touching him all of the time and sleeps on him most of the day. Is she spoiled or not?????? She weighs around 3.5 lbs but she can hold her ground with Blitz who weighs 5-6 lbs. Misha's personality is very out-going and wants to be the center of attention but in a sweet way. More so than any other dog we have ever had. She just makes us laugh. Her little coat is coming out very pretty. When she is not with Ken she loves eating, playing and sleeping with Blitz. 	8-22-09 Hi Brandi, Mia (AKC Gayla) had her second round of shots last week and has been doing wonderfully. My vet said she was as healthy as could be and was very impressed with your shot program. He seemed very smitten with her and she gave him bunches of kisses. She's been great so far and knows several commands as well as how to walk on a leash. She is so full of spunk, I think she'd fetch all day if I let her. And her favorite thing to do outside is to catch bugs. About the second day home she caught and killed a butterfly of all things! She met the rest of the extended family as I went to visit my family once more before school starts up next week. She did wonderfully with all the other papillons. It was fun, I've never had that many in a house before. Anyways, just wanted to let you know she's still wonderful! -Lauren- (TX, USA)

	8-15-09 Hi Brandi, Violet went for her checkup with my vet on Wednesday and passed with flying colors. I have scheduled her for her spay surgery this coming Monday so we can have that behind us. Violet is an excellent watchdog and yodels at one and all if she doesn't know what something is or if the doorbell rings. Lily goes for her ears and I have to watch for that. But if Lily bothers her long enough, she will make a weird quiet grrr noise and go for Lily, who then backs off. I'm sure they will work it out. Violet is a best buddy now and has claimed the top part of the other side of my bed as her sleeping spot. That is OK with Lily since she has always liked the foot of the bed. 	8-13-09 Hi Brandi, A dear friend and her children came to visit our farm today. She took some sweet pictures that include Ivy's showing off her agility skills. I thought you would enjoy seeing her in action. Jedi and Lewis are in the background watching. Jedi will be starting his Therapy dog work at Vanderbilt Children's Rehab. the end of this month. We still visit at the memory unit and they love him there. I call it our" 40 first dates" visits as they love him, but they never remember him. He is competing in excellence AKC agility now. You can be very proud of him. We have also been doing some teacup shows which are a lot of fun. Lewis will compete in his first AKC agility trial in Oct. He is very confident at home but more reserved at class so it will be interesting to see how it goes in a show setting. Ivy's amazing ability to go anywhere with such good manners has turned into a blessing for me. My doctor wrote a prescription for a service dog to help me manage my chronic pain. Ivy was the perfect choice. We have worked and will continue to work on many ways Ivy will assist me. I am very excited and having her has truly improved my quality of life. These three little papillons which you have allowed to be placed in my home are all asleep now in the kitchen dreaming of what adventure this afternoon will hold. I hope you and yours are doing well. 	8-12-09 Hi Brandi, Hope all is well with you guys. Lacey (aka Jolie) was spayed on Monday. She did fine. She is moving a little slower and likes to sit in my lap more than usual, but she went through it just fine. I slept on the sofa near her the first night so if she whimpered or cried I would know it, but she slept right through the night. I am sending you the paper work. I was tempted to get Lottie, but I have a lot on my plate right now so it would not be wise. She is so pretty and I would like my next one to be a red sable. Thank you so much for Lacey. 	8-11-09 Hi, Gayla is now known as Mia and she's doing really well! She learned her new name within a couple hours and it really seems to suit her. She really is just the best puppy and lots of fun. She and Summer are doing well for the most part. Mia loves to follow Summer around and tries to cuddle with her. Summer isn't exactly as enthusiastic but I did catch her cleaning Mia's face. Mia met the extended family (my father and sisters' papillons) and she particularly loved my sister's 15 month old. They spent all afternoon playing chase and tug. 	8-7-09 Hi Brandi & Mike, I wanted to send you a picture or 2 of Daisy; she's hard to get a good photo of b/c she's always looking around to observe other dogs in the dog run, and keep an eye out for treats! She's doing great, and you can see how long and luxurious her coat is getting. She's still good friends w/Bunny, and very happy being a house pet. She's still exploring the city; I have to make sure she doesn't discover "treats" on the sidewalk! New York can get a little grungy, especially in the hot summer weather. Her confidence continues to grow- she'll even approach other dogs on her own in the dog run when we're out walking together. She's even run and played a few times; when she first came here, she was so shy she wouldn't leave my lap! 	8-4-09 Hi Brandi, Well. Finley, previously Spades, is really starting to get the hang of things around here. :) He's doing so well and his confidence is improving daily. I finally heard him bark for the first time yesterday. He is also eating really well now. He loves his bed I have for him in my office. He also sleeps with us at night already. He is so beautiful with a wonderful temperament and so smart. He's already figured out the doggy door we put in for him. He is even getting along so well with our cats! They have already accepted him into their "pack". Thank you so much for letting us adopt him into our family. 	7-29-09 Brandi, Just a quick note to let you know that Lily and Violet are doing well. No issues over eating or sleeping near each other and me. Lily barks at Violet when she has a chewie, but Violet holds her own and even chases Lily some. I'll send a pix from my iphone where Lily is telling Violet to give her that chewie! I think Lily wants her to play more and this morning they were running around the bed. Violet did cry a little after I went to work yesterday, and time will help that. Lily knows I go to work and settles right in with Eva or Sandra and my Mother. So, so far so good! She caught on to the stairs by the bed immediately and goes up and down them. Lily always uses them to go up, but too often sails off the other side to get down. Violet has not done that yet. She is a pro at pushing doors open - something Lily had not mastered. Lily has been so busy with Violet that she has not had time to dig too many holes. Thanks so much for giving me Violet. I think she and Lily will be great friends. Margaret Margaret (TX, USA)
	7-29-09 Hi Brandi, Our baby went on a big trip this summer! We took Cedric to Paris for a month long vacation!!! He rode in the plane with us under the seat in front of us (I don't want you to think we would put him under a plane for 10 hours!... or ever!) He did so good on the plane! People would see him after we got off, and they would say "You had a dog!? I never heard him bark!" and I said, "that's because he is perfect and doesn't bark." :) We stayed in our apartment in Paris, so he had so much room to play! He had a lot of fun. 	7-26-09 Brandi, Violet has joined the family. Lily is a bit dismayed when Violet gets just the chewy that she wants (always the one that Violet has), but they will be fast friends here soon. Lots to learn for Violet. She is fascinated with the way that Lily likes to play fetch with the toys. She has no qualms about chasing Lily and is very sweet. She can already go up and down the stairs and is a fan of the backyard already. Violet was born on December 9th and is 7 1/2 months old. I'm hoping that Lily is so busy and pleased with her new buddy that she won't have time to dig more holes and mow down all the big monkey grass clumps around the tree! So far so good. 	7-19-09 Hi Brandi, We wanted to send y'all some pictures to show how Holly and Twinkle look as adults. (I think I finally figured out my digital camera). Twinkle is not nearly as shy as she used to be - as long as she's here at home. She's our `Great Communicator.' Her self-assigned jobs are to provide lots and lots of kisses and to notify us if it thunders. (She seems to think we're deaf and/or not very bright.) If it thunders or even just sprinkles, day or night, Twinkle leads us to the backdoor so we can open it and look out and see that it's raining. She's always proud of us when we figure it out because her job is done and she can run and hide under the bed for the duration. Holly is our clown. She knows lots of commands, and LOVES to train. I just have to show her something a couple of times and she'll understand. She and Twinkle are still very best friends, although since Holly is so much bigger than Twinkle she tries to be boss. If she gets too annoying Twinkle hides under our bed because Holly is too big to get underneath. This drives Holly absolutely nuts and she stands there with her head under the bed and growls. We have never been around dogs as smart as these two, or as much fun. I guess you already know that about paps, though . Galen (AR, USA)
	7-14-09 Hi Brandi, Just a little update on Dillon, originally named Randy, born 12/13/08. He is doing just great, he is a loving little guy that looks at our faces all the time like he is listening to our every word. He has gotten much braver about all the new things in his world and loves to fetch the ball. He brings it back to us, has just about learned to sit and shake and the house pottying has just about stopped. We couldn’t be more pleased with his personality and he makes us smile every time we look at his face. I am attaching several pictures, one to show you Gracie and one to show you how Dillon likes to get in our fountain. I am so pleased that Gracie has started playing with him all the time. She lets him chew her ears and flea her, she never nips or growls at him. Considering she has had a bad attitude toward other dogs most of the time this is miraculous. Dillon loves her. 	7-4-09 Brandi, Scotty just got his last puppy shots. He is a total member of our family. He and Cody still like to destroy plastic and anything else they can find. The two have very different personalities. Cody acts like the God Father with intense drilling eyes, and loves to play fetch with his squeaky toys. Will come and beg that I throw his toys so he can fetch. Scotty just jumps around and tries to take the toy away. He likes to ambush Cody (AKA Riley) on his trip back to me with his toy. Scotty is now 6lbs/6ounces. Next trip to vet will be the big one!!!! Both are very healthy and doing well on their diet of stones, plastic, metal, twigs, and anything else they can find. 	7-3-09 Hi Brandi, Just thought I would share a few photos of Miley as we celebrate her 1-year-with-us day. I threw in a few photos of her first days with us just to show what a difference a year makes. She is still a funny, playful puppy inside, but a gorgeous young lady on the outside. She did manage to get her CGC in March by the skin of her teeth! She has a hard time not expressing her opinion about other dogs! 	7-3-09 Hi Brandi, Keegan is doing great at flyball. We were at another tournament 2 weeks ago. We are very close to his next title. He just loves his ball. He races down to get it and jogs back with it. We are working on getting him to race back with it too. I have to order the new pictures from the photographer. He got some more great shots. We will be returning to agility next month. Hopefully I will be able to do it. I know Keegan can. We still get lots of compliments on Keegan's big ears. He is such a wonderful boy. 	6-26-09 Hi, Brandi (and Mike! ;-)), Busy, busy, busy!! I spent all last weekend in a very intensive advanced agility seminar with Stuart Mah and I'm still recovering! Not for the faint of heart, but I think we did pretty well and I learned a whole lot, which is really the point of the whole thing anyway. I've been working with Titch more lately and we have been developing a much stronger bond. Last night I took him to class with me. I had him sit on a chair (we've been working on this) unattended while I taught the Advanced group (he was Very good - he does get lots of attention from the group though, they all really like him - they're still somewhat getting used to the idea of me with a dinky dog, hahaah). Then I ran him in the Intermediate II class and he is really coming along - he ran with me, took on a couple of UKC-specific obstacles that I KNOW he has never seen before and attacked the full-height A-Frame with such vigor that the class actually cheered!!!! I was very proud of him - and he is sooooo fast that I really believe that once he truly "gets" the game, he's going to be a killer. 	6-22-09 Hi from Ranger and Elaine! Today is Ranger's 4th birthday. He is so beautiful and full of energy. I wish you could have seen his winter coat. He looked like a tiny teddy bear. His favorite thing is chasing squirrels. Our squirrels are so fat and lazy that Ranger caught one last week. He just stopped running for a second to let him get another head start! 	6-22-09 Hi Brandi, Well, CoCo (Avanti) turned one last week! Thought we'd send you some pictures from her little birthday party we had for her, complete with doggie ice cream and cake! The other dogs in the picture are her "cousins", aka Taylor's parent's dogs. She gets along very well with them whenever we bring her over for a visit, and can surprisingly outrun the lab whenever we let them out in the backyard. Unfortunately, we've been having a pretty bad heat wave here for the past several weeks so we haven't really been able to take her on many walks (her favorite thing to do!). Hopefully it will cool off a bit soon, because she tends to get a bit restless if she doesn't get her daily walk! 	6-14-09 Hi Brandi & Mike, We discovered that Lily and Tango live on the same block!!! We had a short play date today (see photos attached) and they were both excited to meet. We like to call them "happy pappies." Margaret saw Tango at Starbucks (yes, he gets around) and she happened to mentiont that she recently got a new pap.... come to find out, she was "Pepsi" (now, Lily) from you! The dogs look so much alike...it was such fun! Enjoy the photos!! They will be BFFs! 	6-14-09 Brandi, Here is a picture of how beautiful Lily (was Pepsi) is now. She went over to my son Scott and his wife Jen's house this morning to meet Gracie and Max, the two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that they got from your friend. You can barely see one of them in the picture. They had a fabulous time running around the yard and will have plenty of play dates in the future. Lily is so fast that it isn't easy to get a good picture of her unless she is asleep. She loves being outside and patrols my backyard for any varmits that may try to invade. Then she digs holes. She is a good sport about having her feet washed in the sink numerous times a day. If I can give Lily a bath and get her white and fluffy, I'll try and snap a picture before she heads out to dig more holes. If she were a human, she would be called a tomboy for sure. 	6-12-09 Hi Brandi, Just wanted to let you know, slider and I showed this weekend in Flagstaff az and he got 2 qualifying scores in his advanced rally!!!! He did awesome! It was our first time traveling with him, staying in a hotel and being away from his other mother (my mom) He showed excellent though, getting a 96 on sat and a 91 on sunday. One more qual and he will have his avanced rally title! He's such an amazing dog, he really enjoys doing rally and obedience! Again thank you for the opportunity to have this great boy! 	6-3-09 Brandi, Last week we received the official registration papers from AKC for Titch, so now he's a "real" dog . However, the real news is....... This past Sunday your boy "Braylor's A Titch I Gotta Scratch" earned his first title/certificate. He passed his CGC exam with yours truly (I was the designated driver because he failed his previous try because he's such a momma's boy and whined a bit during the three minute separation part of the test.... sheesh - he was much less concerned with me being "away" ). 	5-13-09 Hi Brandi, After our four month layoff Keegan and I returned to competition at the NET flyball tournament in Greenfield MA. This was Keegan's first tournament as full-time height dog. It was a big responsibility as in flyball it's the team's effort that wins/loses your points. Keegan was up for the challenge. Even though he was getting tired at the end of the day, he was giving it his best and his team came in fifth. He now has half the points needed for his next title. 	5-1-09 Brandi, Thank you so much for your photo guide to trimming a Papillon's fur coat. I have never seen another Papillon other than in pictures. Mine is a companion dog and there aren't any others near me, so I had no idea what should be trimmed or how to do it. Last night my husband brought little Leo (large for a Papillon at 11 pounds) back from a hike and he had stickers and burrs in his fur. So, I decided I needed to trim him up a bit to make it more comfortable to remove them. His feet had very long front fur tuffts, sort of like a Hobbit's foot. I loved the look of it...so cute, but the burrs also liked it. After finding your site and seeing the photos, I realized Leo was very...uhhhh...natural looking. I have now trimmed up his feet and hocks, which should help considerably. Again, thanks for taking the time to post all the grooming photos of your Papillon. They really helped me out! Thelma (USA)

	4-17-09 Brandi, As you can see, Danni has really filled out, fur and body! She’s done it much faster than Jazzy did, just 9 months! She and Jazzy are so close in size it’s amazing. Danni’s fringe has been growing back in nicely. Jazzy’s unfortunately has taken a beating as she got distress with one “keeper” while I was out in last November and did some other scratching that torn out a lot of her lovely fringe so she is very thin these days. But hopefully one day it will grow back if I can keep her from tangling things up too much. Though they still don’t play together that much, they have a favorite game “steal the bone” as when 1 has worked on a cow hoove the other promptly steals it and visa versa. No matter that there are several laying around, they must have the one the other has worked on! They also love to race up the hill into the backyard after I get home from work and let them out. The woods keeps them coraled enough for me to do that now despite no fence back there. We take our walks after that on leash. Love my girls and so does Barbara! Thanks again Brandi. 	4-15-09 Dear Brandi and Mike, Titus was 2 years old on April 8th - it is hard to imagine life before Titus. He is the center of my universe in many ways. He is always cheerful and ready for the next adventure. He is the best companion. He is serious when working in Agility, and yet, makes me laugh at home with his various antics - he loves finding socks and depositing them around the house. He is the center of attention whenever we go out. He is so smart - his vocabulary is huge - he knows at least 10 toys by name in addition to all the Agility commands and other words. 	3-31-09 Brandi & Mike, I wanted to give you a little update on my sweet girl Daisy- she is such a wonderfully addition to my home! She's become very outgoing at home & is a good companion to Bunny- I've attached some photos of both of them playing together, as well as Daisy alone. Sorry for the poor quality of my picture- I had to go with a disposable digital camera. She's adapting well to city life, and slowly gaining confidence in the sometimes hectic small dog run. We walk together with Bunny, and she loves being outdoors, especially since the weather has begun to get better. She has a voracious appetite, and loves to sleep on the bed with me & Bunny (she was super-fast in learning how to use the doggy steps & navigate the stairs up & down to my apartment; she didn't know how to use the stairs when she first "moved in" but is very smart). Also, her coat is growing in, and she gets so many compliments on her beauty and graceful stance! I'll send more pictures when i get a better camera- in the meantime, i'd love to post this message & my photos on the testimonial page. 	3-17-09 Brandi, I just thought I would send you this picture of our three papillions. I had to put them on the counter with a kid guarding them to get them to be in one spot long enough in order to get their picture. Parker (almost 5yrs), on the left and Gracie (will be 1 in April) on the right are my dogs. My mom has “Buddy” who you called “Solo”. I like your name better. :) Buddy spent the day at my house today as my parents had to go somewhere and were going to be gone all day. My mom and I trade dog sitting so they get to spend a lot of time together and boy do they have fun. Buddy and Gracie play so hard it wears me out. Parker gets in on it too but he oftentimes likes to watch. My mom always says that when they get Buddy home he is so tired all he can do is nap. My parents adore Buddy and he is one spoiled dog!! As you can see, Parker is huge compared to the other two. He weighs about 11 pounds but is not fat, he could probably lose a half a pound. Gracie is not even half his size but that does not slow her down any. Anyway just thought I would share and let you know the dogs are all great and we love them all. Kim (OR, USA)

It's Rick's recliner that he hasn't been able to sit in for more than a year. As you can see she has all of her baby blankets and stuffed animals. 	3-16-09 Dear Brandi, Pepsi - now Lily - is doing great. She has the household all under control. She loves my little grandsons and races around with them. I'll take a new picture as soon as the cone comes off this week from the spay surgery. Day 2 after the surgery Lily was running and bouncind around as usual - much to my dismay since she was supposed to leep calm for a few days! Lily is getting a beuatiful coat. It is very full and getting longer. Her nickname is Princess Mud and she gets a foot bath seevral times a day. She loves to dig holes to nowhere! She has the squirrels whipped into shape too. 	3-16-09 Hi Brandi, I haven’t checked in in a while, but the boys are doing great! Riyo is still a little mama’s boy stinker and Darcy is just the biggest cuddle bug ever. They have both perfected the spin move and they do it at the same time. Darcy gets really excited about spinning and he outweighs Riyo by a couple pounds, so he sometimes takes Riyo out with his rear-end as he spins around. It’s pretty funny. 	3-14-09 Hi Brandi, Just a quick update on Bailey....She is doing wonderful. You would not believe her transformation from the time I picked her up until now. Very much a lap dog! She is slowly being introduced to different people and environment. She is definitely a mamas girl… She has a great personality, sweet and loves to play. Her potty training is coming along, still has a few little accidents but that is my fault. We have gotten very attached to her. Of course I am not sending you an email unless I send some of our favorite pictures of Bailey She loves her pink blanket! Frankie and Bailey play wonderful, but she loves to play with Graciela (whippet). I think Gracie prefers to play with Bailey. They are all so cute together. He got both his titles this weekend, thanks to the four day show!!! he qualified every time he went in!! and even got some placements out of large entries! A lot of people complimented us, and a few people with papillons asked me if Slider was a conformation champion because he looks so nice! our next step is his advanced rally title which should be a breeze, and we will start training for the open obedience class soon, so he can get his CDX. -Mallory (AZ, USA)
	3-2-09 Hi Brandi, How are things in TX these days? We just had a major blast of snow for us. It came down in big flakes for hours yesterday. But we'd had 2 days of rain, so it only stuck in some areas. Attached is a picture from then and one where Jazzy and Danni are on the perch in the shadows because the window was so bright! They were not big on walking on it that much, but really liked it when I grabbed a handful and they ate it. From then on they liked to eat the snow (out of my hand of course)! The "girls" seem to be settled in now to a regular life with us since Danni's addition! I love having 2 girls with such night and day personalities. Makes life interesting! There's always 1 that wants some loving too (usually Danni as we've nick named her "pick me!" as she is usually hopping on her back feet for attention). Ha. Barbara is just as nuts over Danni now as Jazzy. I still always put Jazzy first with food, water, outside, everything pretty much so she is in charge and has claimed that role. With the cow hooves it is funny. Though I have several there's really only need for 1 bone as they steal it back and forth from each other - Jazzy loves to take it from Danni when she is distracted as it's been softened up! And Danni will swipe it back quickly. That is 1 thing Jazzy never growls at Danni about when it gets swiped. Their unwritten rule I guess! Anyhow, things are GREAT I just wondered if there was any way I could help them connect on playing or not. You always have such good advice, I thought it couldn't hurt to ask! 	2-17-09 Hi Brandi, I just wanted to let you know that Sprite, who we have now renamed 'Freya's Heart' (and call her Freya), is doing very well. She loves to play (torment?) with Trace and loves to give kisses whenever anyone is within her reach! She is so loving! We just adore the two of them, and my girls insist on having them come into their beds to say goodnight or they refuse to go to sleep. Freya doesn't think very highly of her new leash and harness yet, though. I'm hoping she'll get the hang of it soon so we can start taking her for nice walks. Trace loves going out for walks now so maybe she'll watch and learn from him. They sleep together and do very well at night and love it when Savannah comes to take them out in the morning (which is the best way I know to get my oldest out of bed in the morning!). 	2-16-09 Hey... Woof, Woof! Attached is a photo of my boy, Fabio... ready for the Barkus parade!!!! My camera just fizzled on the battery, so I could only get one photo downloaded before it pooped out on me. The film crew from animal planet was there, and they interviewed us for a show that will air in the Spring... the name of the show is something like, "Worlds Craziest Dog Contest." (It's really not a contest, it's quite a nice parade for dogs and their human pets... and the proceeds are donated to various local Wellfare and Rescue Committees for Animals). 	2-15-09 Hey Brandi & Mike.... It's been a while but I just wanted to send you some new pictures of Casey (AKA Marco) in his new house. We moved to NC last year and just moved into our house in November. Casey is loving all the extra space to run around and play with the cats. Here are a few pictures of him taken around the holidays. 	2-9-09 Brandi, Trace (Shadow) is really a little doll! He sulks, though, if he thinks he isn't getting enough cuddle time at night (I think his idea of enough is two or more hours!). He loves following us around and just adores 'his' girls, so much that he will follow them around, ask to play, or even go curl into their laps and fall asleep. We have also found that he's a little thief! He sneaks into one of our rooms and comes running out with whatever catches his fancy (stuffed animals are his favorite, but clothes and brushes are on his list too!), or if there is something out where we are, he sneaks up to it, looks around and then takes it and runs. You can just see his eyes light up with mischievousness! It's terribly funny to watch! He is good about dropping it (usually) if told too, though. I have been working on somebasic training with him, and he is good at sit, stand and watch, so far. He also loves fetch, and I'm working on 'come'. He is very patient for pictures too! 	2-2-09 Hi Brandi, Our girls were thrilled to see Shadow on your page! We have completely fallen head over heels in love with him! (but I'm sure you knew that would happen!) He is really doing well. He has started going to the door to go outside (but hasn't gone potty like that, yet) and he hasn't had any accidents. By the way, I was sure you had said he would sit in my lap.... well... I am discovering that is his place with the girls, but he seems to prefer to be up in my arms or practically on my shoulder! It's really sweet how he will crawl up and tuck his face into my hair while we are sitting down! We have come up with a name for him that really seems to fit. The name we like is 'Tracing Shadows' and we call him Trace. I wanted to keep some of his original name, but I preferred to call him something other than Shadow. There really isn't anything wrong with Shadow, but I have know many animals with that name and wanted something different. We like this one because he seems to be constantly following one of us! 	1-31-09 Hi, We are having a great time with Shadow. He traveled home quite well and he seems to be settling in very nicely. We came home after a visit to Petsmart and as you can see in the picture he loves his new bed (He goes into it and looks up at us with a look that says "This is mine)! We will be putting it in the kennel, but decided to let him be out for a while because he went potty outside when we got home and then promptly started playing with my girls. Tag seems to be the game of choice so far. We found him a new squeaky tennis ball that he really loves and is really funny to watch as he chases it around. 	1-13-09 Hi Brandi, Titus and I had our first Agility Trial at the end of December - it was a 5 day trial and we signed up for everything . Our very first run was a fast class and Titus came in 1st and got his first Q - we became very,very, very excited and that excitement created "Super Titus" able to leap tall obstacles in a single bound - or as my trainer says - Titus had a bad case of the zoomys ! 	1-11-09 Hi Brandi, All is well - no delays, in fact very quick! He is wonderful!! Wyatt is fine with him - I brought the crate in, set it down, and Wy was so interested in that, he didn't realize that I had carried Woody in and set him in the hall. Then I called Wyatt and he "found" him, did the dance around, sniffed, puppy bow, and then ran off to play with a toy. I did just now put Woods in the bathroom so he would eat, and he is. A little later..... Very big bed, very little Pup!! Woody seems to be right at home - has met everyone here and did fine. He already stole a toy from Wyatt though, so Wy isn't speaking to him right now - I'm sure they will figure it all out. I curious to see how well they sleep together tonight - could be interesting. 	1-8-09 Hi Brandi, Are you trying to drive me crazy with the puppy Rudy? knowing full well it is related to Dallas AND Desi? Desi has turned out to be a great agility dog and already has 10 double Q's towards a MACH title (the highest title awarded in agility). It stands for Master Agility Champion. He only needs 10 more which I think he will earn very quickly this Spring. Trust me, you will be the first to know when it happens!! Dallas is the over achiever and is VERY fast but we don't qualifiy as often because he such a maniac on the course. This can be lots of fun and is NOT a bad problem. Desi is more a Mommies baby and always wants to do everything right by my side. Dallas thinks he doesn't need a Mommie and can do the course without me. In a nutshell, they are both so much fun!!! 	1-7-09 Hi Brandi and Mike, Thought I would send a very quick note regarding Rocco to let you know that he is doing super. The dogs have adjusted to each other and are playing well together. They even grab naps on the couch together....we'll have to get a picture at some point and send it. He is doing his business both outside and in the litter boxes we have at home and at Grant's work. He is always so proud of himself when he gets his treat after doing "boxy"! When you said he would bond deeply, we had no clue as to how deep. He is absolutely glued to Grant in a very confident manner. Grant takes him to work with him every working day (he owns his own business) and Rocco stays and/or sleeps/plays right next to Grant whatever he is doing. The employees love him and the customers have all had very positive things to say about Rocco. One, who doesn't like dogs, said to Grant "I don't like dogs, but this one is one I could live with!". Grant is definetly a proud "daddy". Whenever we are out to the pet stores, we always get many positive comments about him (Grant just puffs up a bit more every time). Rocco loves him and knows Grant belongs to him. Yes!!! I can't tell you in words how great Rocco and Grant are together. I told him the other day that it reminded me of the movies you see of the young boy with the dog following on his heels in a meadow or going down a country path. They have that kind of bond. 	1-4-09 Dear Brandi and Mike, Titus had a great Christmas - both of my girls were home for the holidays - Elizabeth, [ 1st Lt.in the Army - flew in from Fort Lewis in Tacoma , WA] and Victoria [ sophmore at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts,flew in from Boston] - the house was full of noise and activity and Titus took it all in stride . He had a share of our traditional roast beef and yorkshire pudding for which he was extremely grateful - tail wagging , barking , jumping etc. The weather has been so warm here , we are still using air conditioning !!! No use for all the lovely sweaters that he owns - oh well , maybe next year. We had our first Agility Trial immediatly after Christmas - the very first run was a Novice Fast Class [ AKC ] - Titus got a Q and came in with a first place. We had a blast !!!! 	1-2-09 Hi Brandi, A belated Happy Holidays to you! I am so glad 2008 is over. Thought I'd send you a few pictures...Emmy Lou...is such a mess. She is really full of herself and bosses all the other dogs around. I took care of 2 french bull dog puppies for a few weeks in December. "M" was bossing them around too, she wouldn't play with them unless we were outside running and she'd jump on their heads and growl. They were like a couple of fireplugs next to all my pups. She has this low GRRRRRR when she's getting her belly rubbed and another dog comes near. We took her on a road trip to Louisiana at Christmas and she flew home with me. The flights were delayed and the weather was crazy and she was so patient and good and let the kids in the gate touch her. She is doing great and so spoiled and loved. Have a great 2009! 	12-8-08 Dear Brandi & Mike, This a picture of Danni and Jazzy in their matching coats that my roommate made! Danni is not a fan of a coat at all, but we have been so cold here in Atlanta, regularly below freezing, especially early mornings, so she’s had to wear it often this winter! Danni and Jazzy are almost the exact same size now though Danni’s head is a little taller and Jazzy’s frame and head a tiny bit larger! on occasion they will “jost” often with Danni’s paw landing on Jazzy’s nose – they freeze frame. Funny. They love to chew the same cow hoof, stealing it from each other as it’s all softened up (not bothering with the other one in the house). Danni loves to give Jazzy a “kiss” lick on the face whenever she gets a chance. I’ve taught Danni some basic tricks but she’s harder to get to focus. I love her “scooter” run as I call it as she gets so excited she just scoots around the house before breaking into a full run. Cute! Danni just loves to cuddle and be in my lap or close by. 	12-8-08 Hi Brandi & Mike, We wanted to let you know that Jezzy is doing great and send along these pictures! She and Trevor are buddies now. They get along great and although he doesn't want to play very much, you can tell he is always looking out for her. Her favorite toys get carried around the house and she even takes them outside sometimes. Her coat is looking really good and she's gained a bit of weight, too. 	12-2-08 Hi Brandi, This past weekend, as part of the Long Island Road Rage flyball team, Keegan and I attended the Jet Set Flyball Tournament in York, PA. As it was his first flyball tournament, I wasn't sure how Keegan would handle the frenzy and noise. He wasn't fazed by it one bit. The plan was to have Keegan run the warm-up runs just to get him used to the atmosphere. He handled it so well that the team's coaches allowed him to run a few heats in the Saturday races. On Sunday he ran two full race heats of 5 races each. By the end of the weekend Keegan earned his NAFA FD (Flyball Dog) title. I've attached some pictures taken by Swift Bennett Photographers. 	12-2-08 Hi Brandi and Mike, If I'd sent all the emails I wanted to write this year to you, we'd have a book! I have been up to my eyeballs with too much work while learning to run my new dog training facility this year.... Titch has been doing great! He is best-bud's with both our aussie boys (Splash and Abby) while keeping the border collie girl (Zel) in her place. He is with me most of the time at my facility, and has several friends (dogs of clients) that he loves to play with. We have been training him in agility, but not as much as we have wanted to. I had planned on entering him in his first CPE agility trial last weekend but unfortunately did not send in the registration forms in time for the trial. Also, I don't know if Lee Ann has told you, but Titch and Trek have met and played a couple of times - the most recent was this last weekend at the CPE trial she was judging...they were doing quite the "Pappy-dance"! It's so fun to see another Braylor baby...Trek is one awesome doggie! I have attached a couple of not-too-recent photos of Titch - he has no problem getting into the mud! If you want to see a better photo of him, I will be ordering a couple of pics from our holiday photo shoot that we did a couple of weeks ago. 	11-16-08 Hi Brandi, Tango here…just wanted to wish you all happy Thanksgiving! I got to go on my first airplane ride (in first class, too) for Thanksgiving… it was really rough. I don’t like the whole pet carrier idea, those seats look much nicer. Who’s idea was it that I had to go under the seat, anyway? Please explain. I don’t get it. We went to New Orleans and you know, some parts smell pretty bad around there…but it was fun to get out of my back yard and see some sights! Enclosed is my photo from getting settled into my bed at the Ritz. Man, those beds are so soft –but my favorite part is all those pillows I can get on top off! I dig those elevators! I met some other dogs on vacation in the hotel, like me, and we liked to go potty together down the street – really fun, too! Oh, and another thing – why do they have chickens and other petting animals in the hotel? Good news, I almost got that rooster, until some guy pushed me back, darn the luck!! 	11-16-08 Hi Brandi, You would be very proud of Ivy. She is really doing well and becoming very bonded to me. Just what I wanted. My daughter came over with some other nurses from the hospital and the first thing Grace said was" Ivy is very attached to my Mom. " My heart really warmed at that because I have had to earn Ivy's trust and I really cherish the bond which I know will just grow stronger with time. On the other hand the boys love me, but they also love whoever will throw a ball. Ivy and I are taking a girl trip to see my parents in Florida the first week of December. She will fly in the cabin with me. The boys are all staying here. I think this trip will also strengthen our bond, because we will have time alone. My Mom fell in love with Ivy when they were here in Oct. She said I didn't have to buy Ivy a return ticket. I told her no way, just enjoy her while she is with you. I also wanted you to know that Jedi is finally back to being a very happy puppy. He is doing great in both agility class and therapy work. I think Ivy has alot to do with that too. Lewis is a very busy boy. I have taken him out of agility for now and we are working clicker training and obedience for focus. He is like a little bull in a china shop out on the course and we needed to pull back to the basics. Some day he will be an awesome competitor. Well I guess that is all. 	11-16-08 Hi Brandi, Well we are coming up on Winston's third birthday here pretty soon. Jim and I have thought it was time we gave you and Winston another glowing report of approval. Winston has continued to be our most happy of life time acquisitions. He has just been the greatest, and we are so pleased to have him. He keeps us busy of course fetching things and playing tug of war, but when I want him to be...he is a snuggly little lap dog..who snoozes through half time with us on the couch. Just exactly what I had in mind when we first got him. Since we built Jim's amateur radio room addition last spring, Winston has found a whole new "guy" room to hang around in. He sits up on Jim's desk and watches him at work. It is a real favorite spot...much more preferred...than to being in the house with all of us girls. These last few weeks has found Winston enjoying fall foliage. He thrashes around in big piles of leaves that are stacked higher than he is. The three girl dogs are much more dainty about it and circle around the whole mess, but not Winston. Plowing through it at full speed, is an everyday delight. 	11-16-08 Dear Brandi & Mike, Max (3 yrs.) and Atom (2 yrs.) both celebrated their birthdays recently. I just thought you might like to know that both are doing fine. I apologize for the poor quality of the photos, but as I told you once before, photography isn't one of my hobbies. I hope they at least give you a pretty good idea of how Max and Atom have matured. I am always getting comments about what pretty dogs they are. Most of the pictures are of Max only because Atom wouldn't stay still in front of the camera. 	11-14-08 Hi Brandi & Mike, I have started taking Titus various places and dressing him up for photos with the idea of possibly doing a book - not sure what it will be about, but it is a lot of fun and people get a real kick out of watching - Titus justs sits and stays perfectly still until l say O.K. - its hard to believe he is the same dog that zooms on the Agility Field !!!!! What a guy!!! We have entered our first Agility Trial - it is a 5 day AKC trial at the end of December - I know Titus is ready - I am less sure of myself, but my trainer says we are ready. Titus continues to be the most versitile companion - sleeping on my lap as I work on the computer - sitting in the stroller and being an angel when I have to go to meetings and then flying around the course when we do our agility - watching me for every signal. He had his first official measurement and he is 12 and 1/4 inches - so he will jump 12 - he weighs a little over 9 lbs. - He is really quite stunning !!!! Love to you all, Barbara and Titus (FL, USA)
	11-14-08 Hi Brandi, I hope all is well by you. Brady (former name RJ) is the BEST puppy anyone could ask for! He's potty trained already - YEAH!! He just started to bark which is his way of telling me he wants to go out. He loves our daily walks and our 3 mile walks on the weekends at our dog friendly park, although he passes out the minute we get home. His hair is getting a little longer and please notice the patch of red on his side is shaped as a heart!! He has brought so much love to mine and Terry's lives... I can't thank you enough. 	11-4-08 Hi Brandi, Just wanted to send an update on how Avanti (Coco) is adjusting to her new home! It took her a few days to work up an appetite, but with a little coaxing and some soft food, she was eating in no time. We already have her weaned off the soft food and eating only hard...she seems to really love crunching it!! She absolutely loves running around in our backyard, rolling around in the grass and basking in the sunshine! She has the most adorable personality and never ceases to put a smile on our faces! You were defintely right about her toys...she spends hours at a time playing with them! She is extremely smart and we can't wait to begin teaching her tricks! She gets a TON of complements everywhere we go, and we are so proud of her and delighted to have her in our lives! Thanks you so much for helping her become a part of our family! 	10-27-08 Brandi, Well, where to start.....Midwest Championships was amazing! I am so unbelievably proud of Trek I just don't know where I should start!!!!!!!!!! I cannot tell you how tough the competition was that Trek had in his height class for the Champs. I knew it was a pretty big high bar I had set for him. Keep in mind that Trek isn't an Elite dog yet and he's really only been running agility for a couple years and add the fact that he was running against dogs that are twice his age and have been playing agility at top levels in their height the eqivalent of my elite dog, Dera. A couple of them have even done the USDAA Grand Prix's and AKC Champs and have top titles. Oh, plus, Trek has never in his young life yet seen a championship course, let alone a course with more than 20 obstalces - not E-V-E-R! That little darling of mine kept up in many instances this weekend with em and even placed ahead of some of them here are there - oh he was so brilliant in those shining moments! Across 8 runs these last three days - Trek placed 4 times in his height group! The most impressive to me was a 3rd placement in Standard on Saturday!!!!!!!!! There's absolutely fantastic shots of him from this weekend. Oh they're just so telling of just how much fun he had out there! Trek is my clowning crowned prince. It's one of the things I most adore about him is his sense of fun and play. But there is also his work ethic and his drive and his evolving maturity - that's what you see in his expression. It took my breath away a little bit. For me, the results were a triumph. Knowing that Trek is tracking towards the seasoned dogs in his height class is a thrill for me. Seeing him place with dogs the caliber of those that we ran with is thrilling to me. We got home about 45 minutes ago and he is curled up on my bed next to big bro, Flip. Poor guy, he's so totally wiped out! But was he ever, ever, ever, ever a trooper! Lee Ann (IL, USA)
	10-26-08 Dear Brandi, We have had the most amazing couple of days. My family came to my home for a family reunion and my sister-in- law from Lakeland Florida is quite an amazing animal behaviorist. She breeds and shows Westies. I asked her to observe Ivy for me and see if she could give me some pointers on helping her be more outgoing. I had been reading books and doing exercises but she still was happiest in the kitchen, the dog room or in my arms. It didn't take her long at all to access our problem. It wasn't Ivy at all, but Lewis. It was so sneaky that I didn't pick up on it. She told me to watch Lewis's position as it related to Ivy and me. He always put himself between us. No growl, no charge, just a position to keep her where he wanted her( away from me). He would also put himself between Jedi and Ivy at times. He would play with her and interact with her but he keep her away from me until I would just go pick her up, thinking she was just too shy to come on her own. It is really a miracle the way she prances around the house now as long as I keep Lewis in check. Now that we are on to Lewis, it is amazing how he is relaxing. I guess in his mind I wasn't being the alpha when it came to Ivy and he needed to step in. Such a simple thing, but what an amazing difference. Thought I would share that with you. Ivy's little personality is really shining now. And Lewis will be a better boy for being found out. I just want you to know that Ivy is everything I requested and so much more. She loves to be with me, in the car, in her bag, in her front carrier and of course in my lap. I wanted a small, beautiful, Beta lap dog and you picked her perfectly for me. She loves everyone and everyone loves her. I just felt she had a more outgoing puppy part to her I wasn't seeing unless we were outside. Now I see that as we move from room to room in the house. If I keep Lewis in check she has the freedom to follow and interact. So please don't get me wrong. Ivy is everything I requested. In fact I tell friends if they are ever in the market for a papillon write to you and be specific because everyone of mine has been just what I requested. Thanks so much for each one of them. 	10-25-08 Hi Brandi, Frankie was bitten by a rattlesnake in August. He's doing well and the Vet said that the rattlesnake vaccine we chatted about and decided to give probably saved his life. We did give him the antivenin ($800 a shot) that night too and within an hour of the strike. He was bit just over the right eye on the skull. The snake was right outside the door when I let he and PJ out. He never had a chance. PJ couldn't figure out what was going on and kept looking around the house for Frankie and barking. It still seems surreal. Kind of like a dream (nightmare.) I would strongly recommend the vaccine to anyone that lives in an area where a bite is possible. A combination of factors helped. The vaccine, the bite being on his skull and not a "meaty" part of his body where the venom would have been injected deeply, and the injection of Antivenin quickly after the bite. Bottom line is that Frankie is doing well. In a week he was back to 100%. I really feel fortunate. Doug (NM, USA)

	10-20-08 Hi Brandi, It's hard to believe that a year has passed since Keegan (Striker) flew into our lives. He has brought us so much joy. He has an excellent temperament and is very easy going. He travels well and is always up for a new adventure. At home, when he isn't chasing the neighbor's cat out of the yard or playing with Carmen and Ambrose, he wants to cuddle and loves to give kisses. He is handsome and always draws compliments on his beautiful huge ears. We've been busy training in agility, obedience, and flyball. He is ball crazy so he is excelling in flyball. In July Keegan aced his AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. In September he earned his AKC Novice Standard agility title and this past weekend he earned his AKC Novice Jumpers title. I know Jill told you of our special agility run two weeks ago at the LIA USDAA trial when Keegan teamed up with Braylor cousin Dallas and they won the Starter's 12" Pairs class. 	10-20-08 Brandi & Mike, Just want to give you an update on Molly. We had to evacuate for Hurricane Ike and stayed in Destin, Fl for two weeks. She LOVED the sand and how quickly she could dig a hole. We were stopped on the beach multiple times by people wanting to admire her. She ate the attention up. Fortunately, we came home and had minimal damage it just took a long time to get our utilities back up. I've sent a few pictures of Molly and some of her playing with her "cousin", my sisters tiny minature chocolate schnauzer "Malia" who is 6 mths old. They love their "play dates". Molly is a mess when they are playing. She steals a bone, a ball, or whatever toy Malia has at the moment and then jumps up in a chair with it and taunts her because Malia can't jump that high. They have fun though and Molly sometimes lets Malia have the upper hand just so that she will keep playing with her. The kids were participating in a starter obedience class with her before the hurricane. She is a quick study and was the star pupil. We plan to do some more after the first of the year and maybe explore some agility training. She does not think that puppy gates apply to her and she jumps right over them, even the taller one. We love her and she brings lots of joy, excitement, and happiness to our life. People ask me how I could spend so much money on a dog and I tell them that if you divide the amount that you pay for a dog over the number of years that you are blessed to have it, it really turns out to be just a little over a hundred dollars a year. People blow way more than a hundred dollars a year on entertainment & travel. The happiness that a dog brings is a wonderful investment. Best wishes, Marla (TX, USA)

	10-8-08 Hi Brandi, Trek loves kids and in April this year at the National Specialty in MD he got to meet a little girl doing a school project. I chatted with the little girl's mom, Deanne, and this is what she had to say! "I met Brandi at the show. She is very nice. She gave me a brochure for her kennel. Her website is fantastic. I have a few pages bookmarked - she has lots of great photos and information on her site. I especially like the color descriptions and how she shows the coat changes at various ages. You may send the photo to Brandi. The project was based on the book "Flat Stanley". Stanley is flattened when a bulletin board falls on him. He survives and makes the best of his altered state, and soon he is sliding into rooms through the opening at the bottom of closed doors and being kind to his younger brother by playing as a kite for him. But one special advantage is that Flat Stanley can now visit his friends by being mailed in an envelope. So in the classroom each student makes their own laminated Flat Stanley and chooses an adventure to take him on. My daughter took Flat Stanley to the National Agility trials where they met Trek. They then make a picture book describing their adventure and share it with their classmates. 	10-7-08 Hi Brandi and Mike, I have wanted to write several times and tell you how well Titus is doing, but we are always on the go !!! Titus earned his CGC this summer and it was very exciting - his class was full of big dogs and he was the smallest but also the smartest. We also did an Agility Demonstration for a School for handicapped children - Titus and I have not started competing and so this was the first time we did a course in front of an audience. He was superb and did not seem to mind the crowd at all. It was tremendous fun and the children got to pet the dogs at the end. 	9-30-08 Hi, Thought I'd let you know that Ivy has already found a boyfriend. His name is Swayze and he belongs to my friend who was holding Ivy in the first set of pictures I sent you. Swayze loved Ginny and we were wondering how he would take to Ivy. Well within seconds he was puffed up and doing the Papillon dance. Ivy was very impressed and really enjoyed all the attention. Ivy is such a love. She follows me everywhere I am going to take her to agility class tomorrow with the boys just to hang out. I have a 4 day agility trial Oct 2-5 locally and I thought I would take her and Lewis to hang out while I showed Jedi. She is doing very well with the leash and really enjoys walks around the farm. 	9-30-08 Hi Brandi, The girls are doing fine. Danni has so much energy, I'm walking them 2 miles a day. Jazzy was already doing a mile after work before I got Danni, just my morning walk with her was much shorter. Danni has learned to sit, shake, roll over she's getting, and I'm adding crawl. She's a sweetie and gives Jazzy kisses a lot! Got some better shots where you can see both Danni & Jazzy on the driveway. It’s kind of cool how close in size they are! Danni’s head is a little taller and maybe her back slightly, but she is smaller boned than Jazzy – head and all, hard to believe! 	8-22-08 Brandi, I'm sending a photo of Chris eating his Dairy Queen ice cream cone after finishing his Rally Advanced title. He ate most of it before he started shivering. His new name is Braylor's Christian Dior CD RA. His first leg was a first place with a perfect score of 100. There was a 3 way tie which they break by time in Rally. He beat a Rottie and a German Shepherd. I was shocked but later realized that he has an advantage by being so close to the ground. It takes him way less time than the big dogs to sit and down. 	7-22-08 Hi Brandi, Here are a few pictures. Emmy was soooo busted! She's been watching where the rabbits sneak thru the fence between the side yard and the pool area. She is such a stinker! She loves being outdoors. She will sit out on the lounge chairs and watch the bird and the squirrels until I make her come in. The picture with Chuck was taken at the dog park where "M" is always the center of attention which of course she loves. She wakes me up every morning with that tiny nose in my ear and as soon as I say her name she starts licking my face. She is so fast - I don't know if you've ever saw her run full blast out in a field. I tell her to "GO get ......." and whichever dog I name she takes out after. She is super smart and knows exactly which dog I'm telling her to chase. I weighed her this weekend at Canine Commissary and she weighs 3.2 lbs. 	7-14-08 Hi Brandi, Both boys finished 4 titles this weekend in NADAC!!!!!!!!!!! Including their first Elite level titles!!!!!!!!! Go boyz! They were just awesome! I'm so proud of my boyz and their first Elite titles. So their alphabet soup is growing - adding a TG-O and a TN-E to their names! I keep laughing looking at this pic of the boyz from this weekend with their ribbons. I swear Trek is trying to sit just a little bigger than Flipside.....tee hee. He did make everyone catch their breath in Touch N Go too - which is still making me laugh. It was very windy on Sunday and the A frame was pointed right into the wind. Trek was full throtal up the A and into the wind and he didn't pull his ears in - and he was airborn up and over the apex. A gust of wind caught him and I swear lifted him up like tossing a leaf in the wind. But Trek's expression went from driven agility dog to tiny human toddler being tossed in the air by daddy - "Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!" His feet touched the descending ramp and the competitor took back over and he landed with the grace of a butterfly landing on a waiting flower, without a sound, and off we went to finish the course. We came off the course to chuckels and laughter as I apologized to Trek for not remembering to cue him to pull in the flaps of those wonderful butterfly ears! LeeAnn (IL, USA)

	7-9-08 Brandi, I just took a look at the testimonials, happy to see my sweet Miley has a spot. We can't believe it's less than a week. She is wildly protective of me and my husband, like she has been with us for months. When my husband leaves for work in the morning she stares at the door where he exited and tilts her little head with a sad, wistful expression. She is so part of the pack it cracks us up. When it is time to go out to potty she's right there in the laundry room with the others waiting for her leash. She knows the ice dispenser sound at night means chips and flies to the kitchen to get hers. She is going to take some weight off Harry, they tussle and play on and off all day. 	7-2-08 Brandi, I have put the letter from the vet about Shmooli's spay in the mail. School is out and I have July to catch up on life! I have attached 2 cute pictures of Shmoo. This morning I got up to let the dogs out and couldn't find Shmooli. My youngest had her girlfriends spending the night and they were asleep all over the den floor. Finally, I found Shmooli nesting in my daughter's favorite feather pillow in the middle of all the girls; she just snuggled in deeper and refused my many offers of "outside". 	6-30-08 Dear Brandi and Mike, Just an update on "Titus the Terrific" [as my trainer calls him] - We are now in Agility 3 and working on various things like rear crosses which took me a lot longer to learn than it took Titus. He continues to excel despite my shortcommings. We are also taking our CGC and an Attention class. The Attention class is actually for the Obedience people, but my trainer recomended it and it is the hardest class we have ever taken, but is having great results. Oscar and Titus are good friends, as you can see - Oscar has lost 3 lbs. since Titus arrived last summer and is much more active and healthy. I feel very blessed having had Titus come into my life - he is a very happy fellow - whether we are running on the agility field, or just riding in his stroller while I shop at the Mall - he is patient and smart and the best compainion ever. 	6-27-08 Hello Brandi and Mike, Your baby is doing great and everybody comments on what beautiful markings he has. He has bonded with John and loves to go riding in the convertible down the beach with him. He sleeps on his cuddly blanket (that he rearranges to get just right every night) — crosswise so he can touch both of us. He has adapted really well to our routine and is getting better about meeting new people — it is so interesting to see the people he takes to and doesn’t — he is discriminating — and frankly his choices are ours as well — do you think he can read our minds on our first meeting people? HA --- he loves healthy treats and gets special chicken and brown/wild rice with carrots and minerals and vitamins sprinkles for special occasions which he loves. He enjoys his baths and loves to swim in the pool. His most fun time is when Manolo (our daughter's Pap from you) comes to play and spend the night — they play chase and vie for attention — Manolo still likes to let him know that he was here first. Barbara brought the boys cool toys and treats when she visited. She adores that Titus (from you) — wonderful for her empty nest time. Cynthia (FL, USA)

	6-10-08 Hi Brandi, Just wanted to let you know Austin had his first agility trial last month and of course flew through the course like a pro, and earned himself a first place in Novice Standard! His JWW run was his official first run, and he didn't qualify in that one. That was his "fun" run where he decided to add a few extra jumps! His Novice Standard run was PERFECT, and 20 seconds under course time! It was an exhausting day but he had a blast and was much more well behaved than I could have imagined. I think since I take him to so many dog shows he's just used to it. I can't wait to enter him in more trials and get some titles on him. It was great seeing you at the National, even though Austin was a little overwhelmed! I wish you could have seen him being "himself" more. We had just arrived after a 2 hour drive and he was a little off. The rest of the weekend was great though, and he got a lot of compliments from everyone. He just acts like he knows what to do near the show ring -- I tell him he's my little "show boy" anyway. He's such a goofy little guy, he loves attention from people he knows and does funny little grunts if he wants something. I take Chloe and him for 3 mile walks a few times a week and they stay in great shape. He also is a GREAT swimmer! He's like a little otter out there in the water. 	6-10-08 Hello, Wyatt wanted me to attach a new photo of him on vacation. Here's the boy, shopping for hats. He is such a character. He does this thing with his mouth when we play - opening and shutting like talking, but no sound - like a ventriloquist's puppet. So I, of course to amuse friends, talk for him (with him on my lap - no strings) when he does that - and he will do it for a LONG time. I think we will take it on the road! 	6-10-08 Hi Brandi, We forgot our camera on our first visit with her vet, but hope to remember on our next visit. He said she is healthy and has a strong heartbeat and weighed in at 5.1 pounds. We measured her height at the shoulders and she's at 9" (if we got it at the right place!). She no longer cries out after we have gone to bed (only did it for two nights) and has always been quiet during our meals at the kitchen table as she can see the two of us from her ex-pen while we eat. She usually takes a nap then while still keeping her ears "on" to listen for any noise or movement from us! We are now taking her out every two hours during the day. She has used the litter pan in the pen two or three times during this time when she needed to go before the two hours were up. She loves to play fetch with a hankie (tied in 3 knots). She prefers that over the other items in the pen. She has bonded so well with us and we love her dearly!!! CJ (TX, USA)
	6-6-08 Hi Brandi, About Miss B....... Brandee is doing very well and is still at 4 pounds. She now has a "Dog Nanny" that picks her up every Tuesday as Dave and I are both gone pretty much all of that day. We wanted to keep her socialized so she spends the day with three other small dogs - they have a good time playing. Sometimes the Dog Nanny will take them on outtings like to the local dog park which has a small dog section. Miss B is usually pretty exhausted when she gets home! Brandee was also recently evaluated for Pet Therapy training. She will undergo another evaluation and some general testing on command knowledge in a few weeks - so we will see where we go from there! We are now ready to find a sister for our little Miss B. As Brandee is so small, we would prefer another female tiny. We are in no particular rush this time. I saw the pics of Ms Rosa's new litter - the pups are so adorable. Don't know if there will be any tinies in that bunch - but if so - we would be interested. So please keep us in mind. 	6-6-08 Hello, I wanted to share some new pictures of Emmy. She is awesome! We love her so much. Everyone who sees her falls in love with her. She is wild and bossy with the boys and quick enough to take their toys away from them. She has an entire wardrobe - surprisingly for such a little tomboy she does like the attention she gets when she has a dress on. She is loving and sweet and full of mischief. We couldn't be happier with her! She is doing good and right in the middle of everything all the time. She doesn't miss a thing. 	6-2-08 Hi Brandi, Cowboy (now Darcy) is doing really well. He really is an incredibly sweet little dog. He and Riyo are the best of friends and pretty much operate in one unit. Riyo is looking absolutely gorgeous! He went through his ugly stage, and now all his hair grew back even better than before. Now it is Darcy’s turn to go through the uglies, but his hair will grow back in soon too. I attached a few pictures of the little guys. One is of the three of us at a cocktail party in downtown Dallas. I was so proud of them because they BOTH behaved so well! Unfortunately Riyo is blinking in this picture. I have another where he is not blinking, but it isn’t scanned into the computer yet. It is funny how different Riyo and Darcy are. They really have two very distinct personalities. Riyo is very alert and attentive, always listening. He is so smart that I can seriously talk to him and you can see his little brain working and computing. Darcy is very smart too, but he is the laid back one. He just wants to be hugged on, although, he has become quite the accomplished little thief! He has a nose for my favorite pens! I couldn’t figure out where he was getting them until I caught him opening my briefcase. I also left my laptop on with an open email on my desk, and came back to find “someone” had been typing. 	5-27-08 Hi Brandi, Teaching is over for the semester and I finally have time to give you an update and a new photo of Remy (with his "brother" Dom). We went to agility this morning and Rem was just fantastic. He had a great time and is sooo patient with me (he has that front cross thing all figured out - -if I would just stop tripping over my own feet and running into wing jumps the boy could really move up in the world, lol). He has a gorgeous jumping style, too. I really need to get one of those little video recorders so you can see him. Attached is a pic we took when we got home (hence the disheveled look!!). 	5-21-08 Brandi & Mike, Millie has won the hearts of some of Bruce’s guy friends also….she is such a ham! Millie still has the “mother” instinct…..she will see a treat laying on the floor and pick it up and take it to Cookie! Of course Cookie just looks at her like what are you doing????? The cat just ignores both of them. It is spooky to see Cookie and Millie together….and hard to tell them apart unless you look directly @ their face. Cookie has brown on her face where Millie is totally black and white. Everyone thinks they are sisters and not aunt and niece…..they have a lot of the same characteristics. 	5-19-08 Brandi, Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know that Molly is doing great. She is eating and drinking well. She hasn't had an accident in the house at all. She really likes the kids and loves the attention that she is getting from them. The only problem we have is that our other Papillon Lacie is a tad bit jealous. Basically she acts like she doesn't exist and is hoping that if she does she will go away. She is not snapping at Molly just growling a little when she gets to close letting her know that she is the Alpha dog around this house. Her little personality is great. 	5-4-08 Brandi, Well, our entry for that obedience trial in January didn't get there in time. So, Chris went to his first trial a couple weeks ago. He won Novice B on Saturday. We only placed third on Sunday. I think Chris will be going back to rally soon to get his advanced and excellent titles. He finished his CD yesterday and got an extra leg today. He had a huge class and we didn't place either day but his heeling is gorgeous. I'm attaching our CD photo. I'm very proud of our little guy! He's such a star. Beth (CO, USA)

	4-20-08 Hi Brandi & Mike, Just wanted to update you on how Porsche (Daphne) is doing. She seems to be very well adjusted to my home, family and dogs. My male Boston leaves her alone. He's kind of a stand-offish guy. My female is smaller, close to Porsche's height and Porsche taps on her, Kitty (my female Boston) rolls on her back and Porsche pounces on her, while she rolls back and forth and snorts. It has become their favorite game. I tell her to be my collar and she climbs up, places her back paws on the center of my bra (through my clothes) and wraps herself around my neck and shoulder. She sleeps in my bed and it's her favorite place to be. She runs circles in my yard, and she moves fast. She travels well in the car and appears to be at home with me. When I leave the room (momentarily) she barks and awaits my return or follows me. All in all she's adjusted well. I am so happy with this sweet baby, thank you for sending me this little dream. 	4-15-08 Hi Brandi, Thought I'd give you an update. Emmy is just coming out of her shell. She has been such a lover and finally is turning into a very active litte girl. She has a little bunny friend who lives under our deck and I am trying so hard to get a picture of them staring at each other. The bunny is about 1/2 of her size. They have this little stare down a couple times a day and then the bunny dashes off thru the fence to the pool area. These are a couple pictures I took just about an hour ago. Just wanted to send you some updated pics of our little miss panda bear, she's still as sweet as can be and smarter than i could ever imagine. 	4-9-08 Hi Brandi, Just wanted to give you an update on the paps. Everyone is doing just great, we just celebrated Sliders 2nd b day this past sunday. We had a little doggie birthday party for him and invited 6 of his little friends. It was a lot of fun. I have included some pictures to show you just for fun. 	4-9-08 Hi Brandi and Mike Yesterday was the "little mans " birthday - although the cupcake was just a prop, we did indulge with a bit of tenderloin !! Of course we had to work for it - just a few sits and downs. I took Titus with me to do an "Open House" and some shopping and then in the evening we had our weave pole seminar. Titus had fun on all of the obstacles and sniffing all the other dogs - I was noticing how many of the other students really do look like their dogs and than I began to wonder if I look like Titus ???? 	3-29-08 The Asparagus Bandits! Spud and Wonder have always loved aspargus and will search the bed all season long to eat it. I have to watch them otherwise they would eat too much. They are the same way with the strawberry patch and they steal the tomatoes from the plant when they get ripe. The 'Big dogs' do the same thing but not quite like the little ones, open the door and they head right to the asparagus. Isn't Spuddy gorgeous? Jill (AL, USA)
	3-26-08 Dear Brandi & Mike, I just had to write and tell you the funniest story. Several months ago, Titus decided on his favorite toy, similar to what you see in the photo, except that it was green, and we called it The Turtle. No matter where he was, if I called out, where is the turtle, he would come running and bring it to me. He carried it everywhere and even slept with it. One day, we couldn't find it, and I could sense his dismay - he kept looking under things and it was very sad. We took a trip to Pet Smart and in my fear of losing another, I bought 3 more in various colors. I gave him two, an orange and another green and put this red one away in a bag in the garage. And then I forgot about it. Today he was sniffing at the bag and would not leave it alone and since there were many other things there I did not really know what he was doing and we went back in the house. A few minutes later I heard him barking at the garage door and he would not stop, so I let him into the garage and he went right to the bag and pulled out the toy. He proudly carried it up the stairs and is guarding it as you can see. He is more amazing every day - very smart and very determined!!! 	3-25-08 Hello, Emmy is doing good. She is sitting on my lap right now as I'm writing to you. I think in the morning after a good nights sleep she'll be even better. Eating is not going to be a problem. She's had 2 good meals and a snack today. She's gone potty outside. She is fine with the other dogs. Han Solo (yorkie) is in love. He followed Onyx around for a few weeks when we brought him home. This is a common theme, he falls in love easily. They're gonna be so cute playing together. They are the exactly the same size. Onyx (the pap) loves her toys. UUGGHHH!!! I've had to take them away from him many times. He seems to think those are her presents to him. My handicapped yorkie has a fit that she's been in my lap so much. He just has to squeeze up there too. I saw Emmy cleaning his face and ears. Here are a few pics of Emmy over the weekend. In some of the pictures she has a black sweater on. I put that on her in the morings because the tile floor is cold. She's a great little sleeper and snuggler. 	3-24-08 Hi Brandi, Just wanted to let you know that Austin is maturing into such a handsome little boy! He gets comments where ever he goes, and definitely has a "show off" attitude. I love taking him to shows with Colleen and getting asked if he's being shown! He's been in agility classes for a while now, and of course was in the top of his class -- FAST learner and FAST runner! I planned on entering him and my other pap in the National in April, but unfortunately with college and work it didn't fit in my schedule. We'll probably compete in May though, so I'll let you know how it goes. He plays almost constantly with Chloe, and even though he's smaller, he doesn't hesitate to jump all over her and have some intense 'wrestling' matches! His favorite thing is playing soccer with his little squeaky toys. He literally throws it up in the air and kicks it around..he is so amusing! There is never a dull moment with Austin. We take them almost every day to the park and let them have a good long run together, and he's in great shape. I swear they must run 3 miles with no problem. He absolutely loves to eat, which gives him a really great drive to learn new commands with treats. I groom him about once a week, and he loves bath time and being pretty! I couldn't ask for a better little guy, and my mom just thinks he is perfect too. I always check for new pictures of Jojo and Candy...I love seeing how they are doing as well. 	3-16-08 Hi Brandi & Mike, I think about you often and how fortunate I was to find you and Titus - he is such a wonderful companion !!! We are doing agility training about twice a week with a trainer and we practice every day. Titus has his own set of weave poles as you can see he has mastered the 6 - I can send him off and be on either side and he does not miss . We are anxious to get in the field soon and try 12. He will be a year old on April 8th and our goal is to try and start competing in Nov. or Dec. We are starting our third series of agility classes and are doing a weave pole seminar once a week - I will continue my private lessons on Saturdays when my instructor is available. It is amazing how much there is to learn and how many mistakes the handler can make - last night we were doing front and rear crosses over a series of 6 jumps and all the other students were with older dogs and were actively competing - I asked the instructor if she would take Titus through the first time so that he could experience it correctly and I could see what it looked like. She thought that he would probably need to do it in stages because the series of 6 was too long - boy was she mistaken - I had been practicing sending him to the jumps - so with the comand of go jump and come jump, he executed the course with her doing front and rear crosses perfectly - as I was driving home that night I again reveled in the joy of having the right dog and the right trainer. 	3-8-08 Hi Brandi, I thought you might enjoy a couple new pictures of Jazzy on bath day! She's sitting between 4 named toys that she has learned to BRING to me the one I choose! Since she is not a "bring" type of Papillon, this has been a gradual process over time. Of course sometimes she still wants to bring to me the one she chooses after giving it a good shake. But if she wants a treat, she knows that she'll need to bring the one I asked for! I just had to find a new way to challenge her as I had run out of tricks to teach her after she learned 19 different ones! She still prefers people to dogs and continues to win over even non-dog lovers in minutes. Everyone wants to take her home as soon as they meet her. 	3-7-08 Hi Brandi, Just letting you know that everything is fine with the boys. Those two play all the time. Right now they are about the same weight although Darcy will eventually be the bigger dog. Riyo is getting the better of him right now, but I keep warning Riyo that he’ll be putting on another pound or two so he better be nice. They really get along great. They are the terrible two. 	3-4-08 Brandi, I was so proud of Desi this weekend at his first agility trial. He not only got a first place, he got 5 firsts and 1 second and got a new title in Novice B and is already in Open in both Jumper and Standard. What a man!! I was going to take a picture with all his ribbons and toys that he won. I will send it ASAP. Dallas Qualified in Jumper 2x's coming in 11th out of 73 dogs and 8th out of 74 dogs. 	2-29-08 Dear Brandi, Jedi received his JWW Novice title in Franklin Tennessee on 9/28/07 and his Standard Novice title in Franklin, Tennessee on 1/25/08 both were AKC shows put on by the Nashville Dog Training Club. Jedi is also a Delta certified Therapy dog as well as a Reading Education Assistance Dog (R.E.A.D.) certified by Intermountain Therapy. Prior to those certification tests of course he had to pass his Canine Good Citizen's test. He is an amazing little dog with a giant heart as you can tell. He is greately loved. 	2-25-08 Hi Brandi, I'm F-I-N-A-L-L-Y home from the IKC!!!!!!!!!!!!! My wonderful pack of agile puppers are sound asleep - resting the rest little champions deserve! Oh I'm just sooooooooooooo proud of my dogs - I have to, have to, have to brag a bit. We finished 6 AKC titles across three dogs - Trek earned 3 AKC agility titles, his Novice Jumpers (NAJ), Novice Standard (NA) AND his Novice Fast (NF) titles!!!! He Q'd 6 out of 9 runs across three days. He earned 4 - 1st Place Q's & 2 - 2nd Place Q's. Friday, Feb 22nd 2008 Jumpers with Weaves Novice B - Score 100, SCT 50/124 yards, Trek's time 31.76 - 1st Place Q and Title = NAJ FAST - Novice B - Score 67 pts, SCT 35, Trek's time 37.30 - 1st Place Q Saturday, Feb 23rd 2008 FAST - Novice B - Score 77 pts, SCT 35, Trek's time 28.72 - 1st Place Q Standard - Novice B - Score 90, SCT 82/154 yards, Trek's time 48.52 - 2nd Place Q Sunday, Feb 24th 2008 FAST - Novice B - Score 65 pts, SCT 35, Trek's time 34.02 - 2nd Place Q and Title = NF Standard - Novice B - Score 100, SCT 74/137 yards, Trek's time 48.30 - 1st Place Q and Title = NA and Title = NA You don't know how excited I was to brag on this!!! 	2-18-08 Hi Brandi, We just got back from the trade show in San Diego, and Cowboy, who is now being called Mr. Darcy, did great. He is quiet, well behaved, calm, and friendly. He did wonderfully in the fashion show and at the booth. I didn’t get any good pictures of the fashion show, they just didn’t come out well. He was working together with Roux, the boxer, what a pair. They made a great team! Riyo was present in spirit and large photos, as you can see in the picture. The two of them are getting together REALLY well at home. Riyo is bossy, nothing new, but they play together all day. They appear to be attached by an invisible leash. He really has been a pleasure to have. Everybody loves him and he is the most affectionate dog ever. I thought Riyo was a cuddler! Mr. Darcy is the biggest love bug ever! I’m really really enjoying both the dogs. 	2-14-08 Dear Brandi, In Oct. 2005 you sold me an amazing papillon named Jedi. He is everything you said he would be and more. He is a therapy dog who ministers to both young and old alike, a very energetic agility dog competing in AKC open jumpers and standard and a loving companion. My family always laughs and says that Jedi never has a bad day. He is the happiest dog on the planet and has become my other papillon, Ginny's, best friend. As you can tell we love Jedi. My daughter Grace would like to find a papillon just like Jedi only red and white. I am writing to see if you might be breeding soon with the possibility of a red and white male. Jedi turned out to be 10lbs and 11 3/4 in. She loves his size and his outgoing personality. She would also consider an older puppy as I did with Jedi. He was 6 month old when you sent him our way. I look forward to hearing from you and hope you are doing well. I will try to send some more resent pictures of Jedi. It is amazing how much he looks like his father. 	2-9-08 Holy smokes, - can I tell ya how much fun I had this weekend running USDAA for the first time EVER!!!! OMG - we had a ball!!!!!!!!!!!!! Trek was so at home in this venue - almost too much so - he was so funny. He had to and I mean had to disconnect from time to time to do GREAT BIG LOOPS ACROSS THE COURSE LOOKING AT EVERYONE!!!!! Just cause he had to introduce himself to alllllllllllllll these new people who have not yet had the pleasure to watch him run!!!! Oh was he funnnyyyyyyy - but these little disconnects didn't distract from some reallllllllllllly nice runs. Three first Place Q's and one second - and again, out Q'ing even Deri my Border Collie who got to run in Starters - the same level as Trek!!!!!!! The video on the dvd is just a hoot to watch!!!! I've never seen Trek from this vantage point, but it made me really understand why people find him so captivating when he runs - I mean I know why I love him - but from this perspective - he's really just too adorable!!!! 	2-12-08 Hello Brandi, I am not at all a professional photographer but I seriously hope to start working on it once I finally finish a degree in a totally unrelated field, lol. Remy really is hard to get, he is constantly in movement, even when he appears to be sitting still. And I do not use the flash so much, I don't like the light it gives off most of the time, so that makes it even harder. I have so many shots of a Remy blur leaving the scene it is a riot! 	2-11-08 Hello Brandi, Well Buster as we call him (he needed a boy name in an all girl house!) is getting ready for his first trip to Florida. He is adorable and beautiful, came back from the groomers this past Saturday and I swear he looks fluffier! He loves chasing the cat, they play they don't fight, but he is obsessed with the cat! 	2-6-08 Brandi, Tango goes everywhere with Allegra. She loves this dog more than anything - and is very proud "it is HER dog." She's been great about taking care of him and shown great maturity in assuming responsibility to clean up after him, feeding, etc....and, he likes to take a shower with her, so he doesn't really smell like a dog, at all these days, more like "flowers." When she goes to one of her friends' "sleep overs' - he goes with her. This week he went to ballet school, since he is French, the ballet teachers are smitten with his French "pap" name (and the girls all go crazy over him) - and Allegra likes to point out that he stands in 2nd position. Tonight he went to gymnastics class to watch Allegra (although he really wanted to participate and chase all the kids...but, he just couldn't figure out that trampoline thing with the humans flying up in the air - very weird.) ...and don't tell but, we snuck him into Michael's rehab hospital room tonight for a quick visit - inside Allegra's jacket - almost running past the nurses station! On the medical front: Friday will be the completion of our 3rd week in the hospital - ugh. It has been exhausting. This is quite the ordeal, as I am sure you can understand. I think Tango is going to become a great little rehab companion for my husband, when Allegra isn't around, of course. You guys have been so WONDERFUL! So much info, so much support and on-going interest! I just can't believe what has happened in our family in the last 6 weeks since we first met you all. Who would have known? 	1-26-08 Brandi & Mike, I just want to tell you how much Tango has integrated and is loved in/by our family! We did find a local vet 2 weeks ago, and had a full exam with no problems. Tango sleeps in our bed at night, gets a bath every Saturday and is so protective of Allegra (our daughter) - he follows her everywhere, except when she goes to school. So, while at school, he sleeps and barks in my husbands' office with him. Michael, my husband - who wasn't totally convinced he wanted a new dog to replace our former dogs, has completely come around. He loves Tango and Tango now has an official "internship" position in our company (and a Fluffy dog bed perk, too) in our home office. Sometimes he even participates on conference calls with a yap or two in the background! On a more serious note, my husband Michael, who you met when we visited your home has suffered a massive heart attack last weekend and had to have emergency bypass surgery. He has been in ICU for a week now, but is getting better, slowly. His recovery will be long. Tango is going to be a godsend for his recovery and as a companion. Michael was even asking about Tango in the ICU - but he didn't understand that dogs aren't allowed in the hospital ICU - can you believe? He wanted to see Tango, altho he was barely awake? So much for us family members? Tango has become an "angel" to holding our family together and giving us something else to focus on and be grateful for such vivorant life. Rhonda (TX, USA)

	1-25-08 Brandi, Finally some photos! PJ has an affinity to sleeping on or near ones face. He still has puppy breath. He's not a whiner. He has decided that he and our other two dogs WILL get along. But, he has still to figure out what is his and what is not. They know, and are in the process of teaching him. Thing we now remember about puppies: 1) They have very sharp teeth! 2) They chew EVERYTHING! 3) It takes them a while to pick up on "Pooping is an outside thing" (It's only been 24 hours) 4) They consider computer cables a chew toy. 5) They have lots of enthusiam but little coordination. 6) They don't walk or run, they prance and dance. 7) They are very full of love. 	1-24-08 Hi, We made it home! Finally! PJ slept most of the way home. BTW we've decided to name our new baby PJ (for Prince Junior.) He's really a good traveler. PJ has so much energy that I think he scares Joey and Frankie a little. They don't know what to make of his constant dancing! Right now PJ is running and jumping all over my office and the other two have found safe havens and are just just watching him, trying to figure out what makes him tick. 	1-6-08 Dear Brandi & Mike, Titus had a wonderful first Christmas, we had lots of family and friends visiting and although he was a bit timid at first with the large groups of people, he soon adjusted and was quite the little gentleman !! Everyone was charmed. Santa brought Titus his very own set of weave poles - we will now be able to practice a little every day. He is learning all the time and loving it. Tunnels and A frames were so easy for him we were just all amazed. He understand jump and go to the table as well . We go for a walk almost every day in a wonderful park downtown and Titus greets all the other dogs. We spent some time in Florida and north carolina over the holidays and he played with lots of other dogs and had so much fun. I have attached some pictures for you to look at. I can't believe we have had him for almost 2 years. He is such a good dog. He has recently earned his freedom during the day, we used to keep him in this huge cage with his bed while we were at work, but now he gets the entire bedroom and he has been so good while we are gone. 	1-5-08 Brandi, We are the ones that bought YoYo from you back in February. I’ve been trying to get around to writing ya’ll for a while but I knew it would take some time to sit down and do it because I have so much to say. Time isn’t something I’ve had a lot of recently but I’ve really wanted to tell you both how much we all love this little guy. We call him Shane, although we do see why you named him YoYo with the way he jumps up and down like a little spring. It’s hard to put into words just how unique he is. He’s so eccentric…quirky, he has traits of a human. Like the way he has to fluff his bed just so-so before he will circle around 4 or 5 times and lay down. Or the way he doesn’t like to eat alone, will eat one little kibble at a time, eats precisely from one side of the bowl to the other and will even leave it till he’s ready to finish (not inhaling it as our other dogs do!). Also, how he will lick us enthusiastically as if he’s preening us. And how that grungy, nasty, suppose-to-be white, little bear toy is like his little baby (no matter how many times we’ve tried to give him a new one, he still wants the ratty one). He will bring that bear to anyone that will play with him and he will bug anyone and everyone until they throw it for him. We have three other dogs but he would much rather play with the humans. He also does this thing like a cat where he licks his paw and rubs his face like he’s cleaning it. He’s such a character. We get a good laugh at him daily at the crazy stuff he does. It did take a while for him to really warm up to us; probably about three months to where we felt like he was really completely comfortable and happy. He has bonded the most with me and if I get up to leave the room he has to follow me wherever I go. He curls up in my lap any chance he gets (just what I wanted, a lap dog!). Surprisingly my husband absolutely loves him. He’s not one to bond with a dog. It’s not that he doesn’t like them, it’s just that he doesn’t usually get close to them. But he plays with Shane, throws the toy and looks forward to seeing him when he gets home. Shane has carried on the Papillon trait of intelligence for he knows six commands and recognizes several words. He looks at us intently, cocking his little head wanting so desperately to learn what we are saying. We also think he knows he’s from champion bloodlines because he carries himself like a little prince prancing around and letting the other dogs know when they are in his “personal space.” Anyways, I’ve really been wanting to let ya’ll know how very pleased we are with him and how special of a dog he is. I don’t know if his bloodlines help on his intelligence level or if he’s just a unique little guy. We are sure glad we found him on the internet and wanted ya’ll to know he has a VERY loving home. I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to write you to let you know. Believe me, it hasn’t been because we’ve been disappointed in any way because Shane has a very magnetic personality.
