Hello Brandi,
Just a note to update you on Dillon, aka Randy, our beautiful little pap that we got from you. His birthday is Dec 16 2008, so he is soon approaching his 3rd birthday, His coat has grown in beautifully, ear fringe is very full. We love him so much, he is a quirky little dog, loves attention but is not a lap dog. He is somewhat independent, which Is a good thing, he is not clingy or nervous. His favorite thing is fetching his toy, which he will do endlessly, and he perches on the back of our couch for all his naps, never on the floor or seat. We just spent 2 weeks in California and boarded him at the groom shop/boarding place where we have left our dogs for several years. They are always happy, clean, well fed and at home there. Hope all is well with you.
Take care,
Kathy Wasdin

Hi Brandi & Mike,
The three of us are sending our wishes for the two of you to have a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year for 2012. We are also sending an attachment which is a picture of her. This picture of Bree was taken today, 12/21/11, after she came back from having her bath, which was done by a groomer for the first time (Mom's idea). Daddy was worried as to how she would handle this new experience. The groomer said she did just fine. So now Daddy thinks she could go maybe once a month, as she does smell "scrumptious"!

Hi Brandi,
Once again we attended the Santa Paws SPCA fundraiser at our vet's office. Fortunately I got a few good photos as the professional's did not turn out as I had hoped. Pups, L to R, Starstruck (KY) Harmonius Harry, Pom Chi rescue Daisy (aka Dootz), Braylor Smiley Miley and Braylor Forevr Loving Lola. No grandbaby in the photo this year as the very sight of Santa terrorized her into a puddle of tears!

Hi Brandi,
I know I just brag on this dog all the time but she's just wonderful. She's such a spunky, smart and fun girl. She's so creative and hilarious. Papillons are the best dogs if you need a laugh. I cannot believe she's already 2 1/2! I have to say she's still got all the same quirks as she did as a puppy. The other day she jumped in the laundry again and I remembered how she used to do that all the time. And of course she still loves the tennis ball! Thanks for the best dog ever,

Brandi,
I have finally taken the time to download my photos from my camera. Here are a few recent photos of Ryker. I forgot to mention earlier that he is a digger. Since we do not let him dig up our lawn he thought the snow was very wonderful. We got about 4-6 inches a couple of weeks ago and he had a wonderful time digging in the white fluffy stuff. Surgery was completed and he recovered nicely.
Have a great Christmas,
Sincerely, Sue

Hi Brandi,
Just 3 quick pix to show how Fuzzman weathered his second Thanksgiving with us. It was just exhausting following his people all over the house as we cleaned and got ready for overnight guests! Both Fuzzy and Cowgirl were in the middle of everything (especially Turkey dinner…people drop food while loading plates up, and the dogs all clean up. No need for a mop at my house!) By Friday night, Cowgirl was hidden under the table in her bed, and Fuzzy claimed the primo spot with the softest fleece between my son Luke and my mom. Lots of fun (14 people for 3 days!), lots of noise, and he was completely fine with it. Carried his toys around to people to exchange for pets, and was completely relaxed. He really likes this “pet dog” stuff!

Hi Brandi,
Venus is fabulous...an active 6 year old. That's hard to believe. Her two, almost 15 year old, English Setter sisters crossed over the Rainbow Bridge within a month of each other recently. She's adjusting well to only having 2 other papillons to chase (plus "her" Himalayan kitty), instead of the herd of animals we had before. Happy Holidays to everyone.

Hi Brandi,
This past weekend Titus earned his MX Title - Master Agility!!!! We have quite a few MACH points, so now we are concentrating on earning the Double Q's toward his MACH. Titus is consistent and true - he is a partner that one can always count on, and the best part is, that at the end of the day, he still curls up on the pillow next to my head and is right there in the morning when I wake up - just like a little angel!!!!
Warm Regards, Barbara and Titus

Brandi,
Our little Ryker is doing wonderfully. He was just at the vet Wednesday to get a rabies shot. We scheduled his surgery for November 16 and will send the paperwork once it is completed. He is very loving and energetic. He will start obedience class in December. John and I have also transitioned well to having a little dog. John takes him everywhere and Ryker really loves the coffee shop as there is outdoor seating and lots of people to lick:) It is getting colder here and all the leaves are off the trees. Ryker has a argyle sweater to keep him warm. He is ending up taking after his father in eating as he does not eat much. However, he is growing well and up to 7.2 pounds. We used to be alarmed at how little he eats but compared to big shepherds these little guys don't need much - so the vet tells us. He is still on puppy food. Potty training is going well. He rarely has any accidents. We will see what he thinks of the snow - forecasted for next week:)
Sincerely, Sue

Hi Brandi,
Maddy is doing very well and has really come out of her shell. She tries to boss everyone around, that's for sure. Eating like a little pig, I have a feeling we will have to watch her weight eventually. She finally went out the doggie door and pottied on her own yesterday, boy did we celebrate. She started coming in right away, but didn't want to go out on her own. I took her with me to an agility trial this weekend and lot's of the Papillon people oohed and aawed over her. She has tons of personality, and is a real love. Thanks for letting her come live with us,

Dear Brandi and Mike,
We are all ready for Halloween!!! The weather has cooled off and it really seems like Fall is here!!! Titus is doing very well in Excellent B – AKC Agility , we are 3 Q’s away from our MX and working on our MACH!!! Sting has started Novice, so now at the Trials I run 2 dogs – Twice the Fun!!!! The boys are really getting along now, and it is hilarious traveling with them – somebody is always doing something to make me laugh. Thursday we take off for Mulberry, FL for a 3 day Trial - can’t wait !!!

Hi Brandi,
Just wanted to update you on Austin! He's doing wonderful and is SO happy and full of life lately. We're back in obedience classes to keep him busy and will hopefully compete soon. He got his CGC last month too! He celebrated his 6th birthday on the 15th and no one can believe he's that old already. He's such a crazy boy and goes absolutely NUTS over his special squeaky soccer balls. He's so bonded to me and is always glued to my side...I LOVE this little dog!

Hi Brandi,
I know it's been a while so I wanted to send you a couple updated photos of Lexie and our first Fun Run Video. They had 3 courses laid out so we ran the Novice one. Lexie really enjoyed herself and we continue to work on our focus and teamwork. She is making good progress and just loves to play. Her funny little personality is really starting to come out now and she is becoming more confident with going to new places and seeing new things. She is such a little clown and always makes me laugh! Hope you enjoy her little video - it was taken from my I-phone along with these pictures.

Hi Brandi,
Today is Venus' birthday. She is six years old and is healthy, happy and my special angel. Always makes me laugh, follows me wherever I go, and minds perfectly. All those obedience, CGC, and agility classes we took when she was young worked. I had back surgery last year, and thyroid surgery this spring. Venus lay beside me while I was recuperating and always made be feel better helping me to get well sooner. Braylor's papillons are so intuitive, and understand what is going on better than we do. We lost one of our two English Setters last week. She was almost 15 years old. Venus comforted not only us, but our other Setter who was the littermate to the one we lost.

Wanted to give you an update on Gibson. I am proud to announce he is now Braylor's Chain of Command CGC. He is such a social boy that ignoring people and dogs is quite a challenge, but he did it. He has a gift for finding his own creative way of doing things, he definitely keeps me laughing.

Hi Brandi,
Rita is doing great and being quite the watchdog around here. Lily and Violet are doing well with Rita, altho Violet gets a little jealous and gives Rita the evil eye. Rita is a happy girl and is excited to see me when I come home. She sleeps right next to me, thankfully not glued to my side like she was for about the first week. So she is getting more comfortable. She knows how to work the doggie door and so does Lily, but Violet still wants door service. Violet will come back in using the doggie door if one side is open. I prop one side open when I am here. Hope you all have a good weekend! So nice to be cool again today. Trying to enjoy it while I can. The girls are liking it, too! Tried to get a picture of all 3 looking out but Rita didn't take her usual spot.

Hi Brandi,
Well we are here in Mt. Vernon Thousand Trails. And so far so good. Thought I would send you a pics of all four of the doggies. It has rained some, but nothing heavy yet. Intermittent rain and moments of no rain which I use to walk the dogs. Last night was very cold….we started off with a new plan of no crates for the two new dogs. And we are using the baby gate to quadrant off back from front of RV. Has worked great. So last night we locked everyone with us in the bed room area and by this morning all four of them were in bed with us snuggled down. Jim insisted that Asti and Carrie join Buddy and Winston who routinely sleep up on the bed. Jim found the 2 of them huddled in a corner shivering in the early morning, even though they had nice warm beds I put out for them. These RVs are made of paper, walls are cold. But anyway, Jim got worried they were too cold and put them up with us. I figured they would hop right off, but they dug down under the covers and got snuggly. Geez….I guess they really were cold!! Can you image a double bed with Jim me and 4 Papillion’s? Somehow I slept like a log. Right now overcast and very wet, private Robin Hood forest feel going on around us. Very nice and secluded….I like it. Will be talking to ya later.
Many hugs,
Becky

Brandi & Mike,
Sept 10th was Rayna's 1st bday!! So now we get to celebrate on my weekend off. She's doing really well still not a fan of my dad, but she gets a kick out of chasing and barking at him like she's the one running him off. She's too funny; her and Foxy get along pretty well, except Foxy's not always thrilled to be woken up so she's a little grouchy sometimes. Anyways I hope y'all have a good weekend and i'll talk with y'all later.

Brandi,
A little update - Ryker (a.k.a. Jarrod) is settling in wonderfully. He is such a sweetheart. He follows John around like a duckling - helps that John plays with him all the time. Ryker has learned how to walk on a leash and can run short distances surprisingly fast. We totally understand the flying comments as he launches himself off our entry landing. Luckily it is only two steps so he lands safely. Ryker has just started taking the steps one at a time. Potty training is going well. He uses his litter box that we put by the back door. He is eating well and getting a little bigger. We have our first vet appointment next week. We too have adjusted well to our first "little" dog. Our big breeds never wanted to snuggle under the covers to sleep:) A couple of photos attached from last week.

Hi there,
This is the Grahams again, we just adore Buster (you called him Dancer) and he is enjoying life with us and the horses. He is a super love. He and Sassy are the most famous horse show dogs from here to Florida. My son's corgi died a few months back and he is missing his own dog (he is 14) and of course you know we adore the pappies. Please let me know if you have any other available companion dogs that like loads of attention and have personality:) We just adore our pappies and they go everywhere with us. Buster has the sweetest disposition ever:) Attached are some photos of Buster and one of Buster and Sassy. Thank you so very much and hope all is well with you!

These are maybe some better quality photos I took today of Jazzy and Danni. I have recently trimmed Jazzy's britches or they would be dragging the ground as do Danni's. Brandi & Mike,
I don't know when I last sent you a picture and update on Jazzy and Danni! We now live in the mountains of Boone, NC. I miss Atlanta, GA. But we've been here for a year now. I got very tired of shoveling snow during this past winter, with my newly purchased boots and shovel, but the girls took it in stride. Danni would sometimes dash around and eat the snow! But when it got too deep I had to dig out a spot so that they could do their business without being buried in the snow. :) Danni's coat is beautifully full at 5 years old. Jazzy's is thinning out at 7 1/2 years old but both are still healthy, beautiful, and my buddies. Just wanted to say Hi and let you know we did not drop off the planet! It's been a challenging work year so I've not done as good on communication. But we are well!
Take care,

Hi Brandi,
Gibson is 7 months now and starting to get a beautiful coat. We are still working on tracking and obedience, which he is coming right along with both. He is so much fun to work with, but sometimes I can't tell which one of us is being trained. If you asked him, his two favorite activities are keeping the squirrels out of the yard, and a fresh supply of nose prints on the door.
Thank you for such a wonderful dog!

Hi Brandi,
Well, we are finally the Nelson's (CoCo included!) after six years!! We celebrated her 3rd birthday the day before our wedding! All of our family was in town, so we had a mini party for her with everyone! We wanted to send you some of the wedding pictures with CoCo in them from our big day! The pictures with her are my favorite ones! We were supposed to get a "family" picture with her, Taylor, and myself...but the church wouldn't allow her inside....so a family member had to walk her around outside until we were ready for her, and with the horrible Memphis heat, we just couldn't keep her out there that long. So we got some with me, and had to give up on the ones with all of us! She was just so happy and adorable....when she first saw me, she had this expression on her face like "mommy! what are you doing in that big white dress!". We missed her a TON on our honeymoon in St. Lucia the following week (I even cried at one point I missed her so much!), but she was in good hands with her grandma and grandpa! They were thrilled to get to spend the whole week with her! Anyway, just wanted you to see what joy you have given us in our lives!
Enjoy, and take care!

Hi,
Just had to drop you a note - I will send a pic ASAP. Arden and i started our agility career over the weekend and I am so proud of her. She is one special pup and i am forever grateful to you for choosing me to be her owner. She looks like she will be very fast but for sure she will be fun! She is happy, loves to work and continues to amaze me with her agile skills. We are working on doggie fitness and she is the star of the gym class. LOL We love her very much. I will send a picture for the testimonial page as soon as i download one. There was a photographer at the show. Right now i only have video of her - my husband was so busy watching her he couldn't get a picture! She's so cute - will be very photogenic

Hey Brandi,
Sorry it's been so long since my last update! We've been quite busy around here. Goji is doing great, he loves going on long hikes with us and he loves our local dog park. He's so sociable and friendly, all the dogs and people love him! His "grandpa" (my dad) loves adopting him for trips to the dog park or just to hang out at home as well. On Wednesday we took him on his longest hike yet... 4 miles total into Mt. Charleston's Fletcher Canyon. He was quite a trooper on the hike, but as soon as he got home he jumped on our bed and curled up for a well-deserved nap. I just wanted to thank you again for such a sweet and loving dog. There's nothing like coming home to this little furball bounding to the front door with a big smile on his face. He and our cat are--almost--getting along as well :) They tend to get a little jealous of each other, but we try to give them both a lot of attention to limit that. They chase each other all over the house for fun :). Here's an updated picture of him resting on our couch. As you can see, his longer hair is coming in. I can't wait to see what he looks like when it's come in fully.
I hope you are all doing well!

Hi Brandi & Mike,
Titus and I had a fabulous time at the AKC Agility Trials in Perry, GA – Titus Q’d every jumpers run and we earned our very first double Q on July 14th !!!!! – At 4 years old, Titus is a very focused and spirited athlete !!!! He is truly a partner when we run as you can see from this picture – the bond is unbelievable, and I wish everyone could experience the incredible feeling that you have when you run with a dog like this. We have begun our journey toward our MACH, and I have no doubt that Titus and I will have great fun all along the way !!!!

Thought you would enjoy a picture of Arden enjoying the kiddie pool on the 4th of July. Still the happiest pappy ever - but sure looks skinny when she is wet! She has added so much joy to our life and we thank you so much for sending her our way.

Hi Brandi,
So after having only just arrived in Washington (just one week in their new home)…we took the Carrie & Asti and all the rest of the puppies out for some RVing. Pretty crazy huh? Can't believe we're doing this with 5 dogs! Always been a little nuts I guess. People keep asking us how many more dogs we are hiding in here. Jim just tells them he is a rancher now! Ha! Two nights at an “amateur radio national field day” event that had been planned for some time. We are radio hams in case I have never mentioned it before. Many people and several dogs here. Weather has been better than predicted thankfully. It has gone pretty good. The girls have done real well. Very skittish at first about getting in and out of the RV, but this morning they came right up to the stairs…and waited to be lifted in. Staked out the dashboard to watch people go by, and under the dining table in two little beds they found. It has left the other ones their own previously claimed places…so it has been pretty harmonious. I was glad for that, as I wanted the others to have their favorite spaces too. Today we go home, and there is the clean up…ugh! I will have to go back to work…..so that I can rest up. Ha! Ha! Hope you are well.

Hi Brandi,
Just wanted to send an update of our little Coco! She will be 3 years old on June 17th, which is the day before our wedding! We can't believe how time has flown by....and we have loved absolutely every minute with her! She is just the funniest little thing ever! And she has SUCH a personality....more so than any other dog we've ever seen! When she wants our attention for something, she starts doing what we refer to as "the moonwalk", and it is just the funniest thing ever!! She is truly the center of our entire universe, and our parents refer to her as their "grand-dog". Sam's mom even drives 30 minutes to our house twice a week, and then drives 30 minutes home for a "play-date" while we are at work! She is SO smart too....she has an entire list of vocabulary words! We work on them every day! Anyway, just wanted to let you know how much we love our beatiful little baby girl, and we are attaching a picture of our little family from our engagement pictures! We lucked out and were able to take this picture on the Mississippi River in downtown Memphis literally about four days before it flooded and was completely under water. She's wearing her little tutu in the picture! Our wedding day is in 20 days, and we had our florist make her a collar out of baby rosebuds for her to be in the pictures, so we will be sending some pictures from that as well!! Hope all is well with you guys!

Hi Brandi,
We just got back from a 12 day trip to California! Stayed at Morro Bay near my Mom and brother which was wonderful. We could see the “rock” the coastal dunes with bounding surf from where we were parked. Bright orange poppies everywhere which are the state flower….just very lush and beautiful to see!! Walking along the bounding surf scared Buddy! What happened to Mr. Braveheart!! Ha! Ha! He wimped out! Of course the boys did great….came back dirty as hell….but they were at the groomer yesterday and look beautiful again. Here they are relaxing at campsite at Pacific City, Oregon watching life go by!

Brandi,
Trekker earned a new title today - and it's a biggie for us! He is now a CPE Agility Trial Champion! He was absolutely on fire this weekend. All my dogs were really - but he ran just 5 runs and Q'd every single one - with three 1st placements, 1 2nd, and 1 third. He even outran Dera (Border Collie) on the same jumpers course - but at his height and she at hers. It was a 113 yard course. Dera ran it in 21.80 seconds - Trek ran it in 21.39 seconds. He is now owner of the 2nd CATCH title in my house. So proud of my Lil Fusser Nutter, Trek-trek - Congrats my baby boy pappy schmappy foofy Pappi-Collie - I could not be more honored or feel more blessed to have been graced with you in my life! I am proud to introduce - AGII C-ATCH Braylor's First Contact NA, NAJ, NF, NAC, O-NJC, NCC, NJC, TG-O, TN-E, RL1, CGC, TDI. Happy Easter from Trek, me and the furbies!!!!!! Brandi,
I just wanted to take a moment to say that you couldn't have picked a better puppy for me. Rowdy is the most amazing puppy I have ever had. The litter box training made it super easy to start potty training, even while I was away at work. He is so fearless and outgoing during new experiences like tagging along at dog shows, stores and at friends houses for socialization. He is so playful and bold and enjoys wrestling with his pappy sister Paris, and he even became best friends and play-pals with my 11-year-old chihuahua Kasey. I've never seen Kasey play with another dog before Rowdy and she has soooooo much fun. It's almost like having two puppies at times. Rowdy is almost finished with puppy kindergarten and is the star of the class (although I'm probably a little bias). He is so intelligent and picks up things extremely quickly that he makes learning all his manners look easy. On a couple occasions I have had people in my puppy class ask me how I got Rowdy to perform behaviors so quickly and reliably. I told them, "a lot of love, a little bit of work, and a great breeder." Thanks for matching me up to my happy, healthy Rowdy puppy. Have a great day and God Bless.
Sincerely,

Hello,
It's been a while since I sent pictures of my kids and updated you. I am enclosing pictures of both of them, from Halloween costumes, and taken today in my front yard. All three dogs (includes my Siberian, Nick) go on 2 long walks a day. All now can go off lead and are perfectly obedient about staying with me. They even look permission from me before chasing the bunnies! (Actually the bunnies don't run from the Paps unless the Sibe is right behind them!!) They are very good about the doggie door, and Cowgirl even uses a litter box if its raining outside...she can't see any reason to get wet! Fuzzy doesn't seem to mind the weather no matter what its doing. He's a real trooper. They have the run of my kitchen/laundry room/ dog pen outside area during the day, and once Frank and I are home, all dogs have the run of the whole house and back yard. However, the place they love best is sitting in Mom or Dad's lap while we watch TV in the family room. They sleep with us at night...thankfully Nick gets too hot on the bed, and sleeps under the window on a big doggie bed. Cowgirl curls up next to Frank to steal his heat, and Fuzzy rearranges his fleece blankie between our 2 pillows, until he gets it just right. They are both just delightful, and make us laugh every day. Fuzzy completed a beginning Agility class. He was a little afraid at first, but on graduation night he went over/through each obstacle like he'd always done it. My friend with the Maltese and I will probably try the next class up just to keep them in training. Fuzzy loves going out with Mom by himself...makes him feel really special. I have to take care to take little Cowgirl out on her own as well, so she doesn't feel slighted. Thanks so much for not being scared off by my Siberian. My little pack gets along just great. Nick loves his little companions, and all winter long we would find them all 3 curled up together on Nick's dog bed if it was really cold outside. This group is just so easy to live with! I couldn't be happier. I can sure see how you end up with a dozen of these dogs...they just make you smile. No matter how tough a day we have, we have 3 smiling faces eager to see us when we walk in the door. How can you top that? Thanks again, and enjoy the pictures.

Hi Brandi,
Here is the B-Day boy, Wyatt, and Woody with new toys to destroy!! Woody's tail hair is SOOO long - drags about an inch past the floor, and his paw and leg hair is longer than Wyatt's too. He weighs close to 7 lbs now (Wyatt is 91/2), and he is almost as tall as Wy but much lighter frame. They are really buds - don't curl up together (except when I am on the couch with my legs out they are both across them), but they are always playing and Wood will not leave Wy alone. Going to the beach again in May - Wyatt pushed Mr Priss in the water last time!! It is usually Wood that is more assertive, but Wy got him good that time (Woody whined all the way back to the cottage).

Hi Brandi,
Just wanted to let you know that we had Lexie spayed and she is doing great! The next day she was actually up and ready to role like nothing happened! I have taken the week off so I can be with her to try and keep her somewhat quiet while she heals. She is such an inquisitive and active little one so it's been hard to keep her quiet. We will be taking it easy at least for several weeks. Every day she is more and more interactive with me, wanting to be on my lap, by my side and lots of play. She and Tamieca have even started to play chase with each other so I think she is really settling in and coming along well. Thank you for such a smart, fun and wonderful little girl! She does have her naughty gene moments but mostly she is so good and such a joy!
Thanks again,

Hi Brandi & Mike,
Titus earned his MXJ a few weeks ago and we are working toward our MX as well. He is so amazing, and consistent, that I have trouble remembering his baby days when he would get the zoomies in the middle of a Trial. My biggest challenge now is running fast enough to make it fun for him!!!! We will be competing this weekend in Palmetto, FL and next weekend in Tampa – Titus is a seasoned traveler now, he loves staying in the hotels and always remembers where our room is when we get off the elevator!!! Hope that Spring has arrived for you!

Hi Brandi,
Lori took Star to the vet today to have her spayed. Even though it is a routine operation we were still nervous about it. She did just fine of course, and is resting at home. Now we just have to get through the recovery period! She is such an energetic dog, I don't know how Lori will manage to keep her calm as she recovers. I am attaching several fun photos I took this past winter of Star playing in the snow. She was so funny! I hope you enjoy them. We will keep you updated with current photos all along. Her coat is filling out nicely.

Brandi,
Hi, I just giving you an update on Lulu. She is such a princess!! I can't believe how much we love this little girl, she has brought so much joy into our lives! She is such a good little girl. She sleeps on the arm of the couch (we call it her thrown) just like a little princess:) She does not like taking a bath lol but she has let me clip her nails. She is now going potty outside almost all of the time. She only has a few accidents and that is only at night and that's probably our fault because we don't put her in the kennel and just let her sleep on the couch. I am still amazed that she can jump up on the couch all by herself, she is such a big girl:) I put a few new pics of her up on fb. I can't imagine being without her! Thank-you so much!! Talk to you soon:)))

Brandi,
Rowdy has been the Perfect Puppy. He chews on his toys and not on my furniture, he potties in his litter pan when I'm at work, he goes potty immediately when we go outside, he plays great with everybody and everything and isnt afraid of anything. He loves his walks and loves to tug. I'm soooooo glad I found him!!!! You were right, Rowdy is perfect for me. He is sweet and full of energy, he is everything I wanted and more!!! The litter box training has been great for when I'm at work and his potty training is going great so far. He is fearless and loves anything new he comes across. I was nervous about buying a pup without having seen him, but I have to say that you are a genius because you found me my perfect puppy. Thank you again for EVERYTHING and we will send you pics as he grows up.

Hi Brandi,
Jaden hasn't even been here a week and he has settled in beautifully. We have renamed him Gibson. He is a ball of fire and takes after his Aunt Paige, he loves to fetch. The first time we tossed a toy he instinctively brought it back, always followed by a leap into the lap! Thank you so much for all of your help,

Brandi,
Rowdy's first day home. Paris did not like him when I brought him home but she is finally coming around. She actually played tug with him for 5 whole seconds. He mostly plays with Kasey, which is shocking because No One EVER plays with her because of her growly, bully routine. Rowdy saw right through it and they chase each other around the house seeing who can bark the loudest. He is awesome and the easiest puppy to handle thus far.

Brandi,
Mia and I start back up in agility with our new trainer in April and then we are also probably going to start rally in April too. I'm very disappointed that the only flyball team around here practices the one day I just can't get downtown. I know she'd be fabulous at it since she's so fast and she loves tennis balls. So we're having to explore more options. Rally will be a new experience for both of us.

Brandi,
Mia is doing absolutely wonderfully. I cannot believe she's already almost 2 years old. Time really does fly. She's still a very very naughty (and fun!) little dog but she's starting to really look like an adult instead of a puppy. She's turned into such a gorgeous girl. I really think she's grown into herself lately. She might be a little bit spoiled. ;)

Hello Brandi and Mike,
I can't believe how fast the months have flown by.... Have to start out by thanking you so much for our favorite new buddy!! We love him so much!! What a personality Rebel has, so smart and funny!! I know we are surely biased but we just think he is the best!!! He weighs about 5.6 lbs and his hair continues to fill in everyday. He absolutely loves our cat and they curl up in his bed together on a regular basis... His second best friend is our 105 lb German Sheppard. They are so good together and Rebel loves to play frisbee and ball as much as Ringo..the Shepard. We continue to work on obedience but he is doing great.... he has all the basics and I think we are going to start an agility class for fun at the end of March. We have finally turned the corner and I would say he is pretty much fully house broke. That took awhile... prob. more of our issues than his :) Thanks again for this great little addition to our family,

Hi Brandi,
Vanderbilt has done a magazine article on Pet Partners at Vanderbilt and it features Jedi. I am so proud! A journalist and photographer followed us around for 2 hours on one of our work days. It is actually on the Vanderbilt Health at One Hundred Oakes website under canine-collaborators. He is now a PR tool as well as a therapy tool. The girl in the photo (from the article) "struggles to pull herself upright, but when a butterfly-eared black-and-white dog named Jedi bounds into the room, her face lights up, the tension vanishing, and she is suddenly infused with energy. Without realizing it, the almost 5-year-old is sitting up straight as she reaches for her fluffy friend. Her trip around the gym’s track belly-first on a flat cart is a challenge for her tiny muscles, but you wouldn’t know it by watching her. She is filled with glee as first she races Jedi, then allows him onto her back for a ride. Jedi and Carol, a retired physical therapist, are part of Vanderbilt Volunteer Services’ Delta Pet Therapy program. Watching Jedi arrive for his regular Wednesday session is like observing a celebrity arrive on the red carpet. The tiny, chipper Papillion instantly is swarmed by children who want to pet him, scratch his ears and play fetch. But Jedi treats each child like they are the real celebrity, which to him, they are. He makes his way through the waiting area, playing with children in spontaneous and informal interactions, which the Delta program calls “animal-assisted activity.” Then it is off to the rehab clinic’s gymnasium to get down to business: “animal-assisted therapy,” which is goal-directed and an integral part of patients’ individual healing programs. "
Yesterday Jedi took his Delta exam (every 2 years they re-evaluate the therapy dogs) He scored the highest you can score in every category except one. The evaluator puts a toy in the middle of the room and you have to walk by it without your dog trying to get it. Unfortunately it took 2 "leave it" commands to get Jedi's focus off of it. I had to kind of laugh. The evaluator just smiled and said "nobody is perfect" Jedi still LOVES toys and that one looked really good. He is also nominated for the Strobel award which is hosted by Hands on Nashville, a volunteer organization. He will be honored at a lunch at the Marriott. Jedi is hoping for chicken! I will let you know if his dream of chicken comes true. Hope you are doing well. I sure love my little guy. Thanks for sending him my way. Thanks for letting me brag. Jedi is a unique boy and I am thankful to have him in my life.
Blessings,
Carol

Brandi and Mike,
Resist this face... I dare you lol. Louis is doing great and has become a master at looking sweet in order to get out of trouble. He's having a blast in Rally classes and loves giving the corgis a run for their money even when the snow is piled higher than he is tall. His feathers are really coming in now that he his ten months old, and he looks more and more like something out of a classic painting. He loves trying to convince my parrotlets to come out to play, but they don't fall for that cute face like I do haha. I hope all is well in butterfly land! Thank you for sending the registration paperwork. Now he's all official!

Hi Brandi,
Just emailing to tell you Goji is doing very well. We recently moved back to Las Vegas, NV since my husband finished his program in Mississippi. Goji did great along with our cat on the 5-day journey back--he's such a great travel companion! Our new house has a small fenced in yard, and he loves to play fetch. We also have a big dog park close that he loves to go visit! I have some updated pictures for you-- a few from Christmas in his coat and booties, and a few from us going geocaching here in the desert. He just loves being outside! He has been neutered. Let me know about the paperwork and I'll have the rest of it to you this week.

Hey there!
Pierre (Cappy) is growing and has settled in very well - playing, chewing, sleeping, jumping, running, etc etc. I think he's grown a little and his tail and hair seem to be filling out just a bit. He is almost fully housebroken (at least while watched or in his crate) - in fact this didn't take much time at all to help him understand where to go. He has been on several walks and prances like a showman. He has had his first trip / checkup at the vet (and I've bought him insurance). He has met my boyfriend's 3 small dogs and has had a lot of fun playing and socializing and has finally learned to quit picking on my 16 year papillon. He has a wonderful disposition - and I can tell that he was well loved and came from a peaceful environment. I am having so much fun with him and can't thank you both enough! I'll send updates and pictures every now and then and let you know when he's neutered. I sure needed this puppy energy in my life - taking care of an old low energy dog was not helping my own energy levels.

Hey there!
I hope all is well with you guys! Saw you had some cute new guys on the website :) Stella has been doing great, here are some pictures of her. I can't believe she is already 1! Last August we took Stella to Utah to visit my family, and we ended up taking her on a hike to dog lake. When she got tired we just put her in the camel back until she was ready to hike again. She was a little unsure of the water, but over all I think she enjoyed the hike :) I thought the pictures would be fun for your versatility page.
I wish you all the best in 2011!

Brandi,
When we got home last night, we let her roam around in our yard. She started smelling and running around (she seems very energetic and curious). Then we introduced her to our family of 3 - one at a time. Introductions went very well. She ate a good bit of food and drank plenty of water. We took several walks outside last night, she ran and played and tired herself out. Needless to say we went to bed around 12:30, put her in her bed and she slept all night. Woke up at 6:30, she was very alert and ready to play. We went outside and she urinated. Her stool is nice and firm. Not having any problems. She is adjusting well to our family. She is a beautiful girl. We just love her.
Many thanks,

Hi Brandi,
Papillons can FLY !!!!! Titus finished 2010 with his AX [Excellent Standard] and AXJ [Excellent Jumpers] titles, as well as several Q’s toward both Masters titles, and almost 100 MACH points. We are doing more traveling now and will have Agility Trials almost every weekend through March ! Titus has not given up his position as King of the Castle, even though others have challenged him – The Pyr Shep has been put in his place several times and now defers to Titus in everything!! We wish you all a very Happy New Year!!
Warm Regards,
Barbara and Titus

Hi Brandi,
Happy New Year from Ranger and Elaine. I want you to know that I always check your web page for news and pictures, and the pups for adoption. That little Midi is the cutest thing I have ever seen. Of course, still having three dogs in my house, I don't need a fourth, but I know she would be a wonderful companion. Ranger, of course, thinks he is the best dog in the world, and so many people comment on how pretty he is. Thank you for all you do for our wonderful papillons!

Dear Brandi and Mike,

Titus had a very busy Holiday - In the month of December we had 3 different Agility Trials and by Jan 2nd, we had earned all 3 Novice Titles - JWW, Standard and Fast !!!!! We also performed in our first Canine Freestyle Recital as a benefit for the local Humane Society - dancing to various Christmas tunes !! The weather has turned very cold here and Titus enjoys curling up on the couch, by the fireplace, at night - I tell him he deserves to be pampered after all his hard work and then he smiles at me!!!!
Warm Regards and Happy New Year,
Barbara and Titus

Hi Brandi,
I've found a trainer to start Mia in competitive agility training in the spring once it warms up. I am very excited about this, she's led several teams to their MACHs and to nationals. I think it will be the best possible place for Mia and I can't wait to see what comes of it. I know the real stumbling block will be me and my skills, lol.

Hi Brandi,
Mia is doing fabulous since getting her CGC. She's just the most incredible dog. I don't even know how to describe how wonderful she is. She's everything I could have hoped for in a dog. Her enthusiasm for everything and nonstop energy is so fun and makes her just a joy to work with. We moved to Oklahoma recently an she's enjoying being around my sisters' papillons a lot. They play with her more than Summer does.
Thanks!

Brandi,
Here is Arden in the snow. Visited relatives in Chicago for Christmas. She didn't love the cold - we're all glad to be back in Florida. Her first agility lesson went very well - loves it so far. She is growing into quite a pretty girl -gotta love the ear hair!

Brandi and Mike,
Thank you for the Christmas ecard. We went on your website and oohed and awed over the papillons! A quick update to the reason I haven’t written or sent pics lately. Our oldest daughter was diagnosed with cancer about 1 1/2 years ago and it has been an intense battle to get her well. She is doing much better and just had an all clear check-up last week! I have to say Shmooli has been an excellent nurse and companion as our daughter was pretty much bedridden for most of her treatment due to the chemotherapy and all the medications they used to improve her bone marrow. Our house was filled with caring people who exclaimed over Shmooli’s devotion and calm care of our daughter. As we head towards a normal life (whatever that is) I will try to get newer pics of Shmooli to you. She has been a true blessing to our lives!

Happy New Year
I certainly enjoy looking at all the testimonials this time of year. Miley's sister Bree has such enviable, beautiful fringe. Miley says she would too if she was an only child! Hopefully fringe grabbing will slack off as they get older, but I doubt it! Here is Lola with a Clara Rose who is now on the move. Wisely Lola moves out of reach. All the pups have been so good with her from the very beginning. In the near future we will start teaching Clara to be gentle with them too. Miley is not the most kissy of our pups, but she can't resist Clara.
